//Getting Out of Hand//
~Chapter 4~
Three days later I was still dealing with Louis' cruelty. The degrading names, shoves, and pranks. He picked on me whenever he could.
Two nights ago he shoved a rock into my pillow case, when I plopped down to go to bed I smacked the back of my head on it, earning myself a gigantic bump on my head and a headache.
He tripped me in the cafeteria, resulting in all my food to splatter all over the place.
Called me fag and whatever other awful words he could think of.
It was hell. Absolute hell, to be treated like I didn't have a place, like a freak. I got weird looks from just about everyone, except Harry. He hadn't left my side and I was so utterly grateful to have him around.
It was dinner time, I was sat at the end of our usual table, next to Harry. He was a little preoccupied, telling Liam, who was sat across from me, some story. I'm pretty sure Liam was about to fall asleep sitting up from boredom.
Louis was sitting diagonal across from me, next to Liam. He ignored me, like usual. All though, normally he would have sat at the opposite side of the table, but today those spots had already been taken. I saw that little twinkle in his eye and I knew he was up to something.
I tried to stick closer to Harry, hoping Louis would back off if one of his childhood friends was with me. Louis stood up, excusing himself to the bathroom when Liam asked where he was going. He simply walked off and I couldn't help but wonder if he was really just going to the bathroom. I hesitantly decided to just wait and eat my food.
Harry continued his story and I listened in, munching on whatever slop I had on my plate. Things were going relatively fine, both Liam and myself were just about to snooze on the table because of Harry's awful story, when I suddenly noticed Liam look up and behind me, his jaw dropping a bit.
Quickly, I turned my head, only to have a bucket of disgusting lake water poured over my head. I gasped, picking a string of weeds out of my slopping wet hair. Harry groaned a little, wiping his eyes from having little droplets splash onto his face.
The entire cafeteria blew up in laughter. Of course, holding an empty bucket in front of me was Louis, a smug grin on his lips. I shot up from my seat, brushing past Louis and out of the cafeteria. I heard Harry behind me, scolding Louis and then darting after me. Unwanted tears started rolling down my cheeks.
Why couldn't he just leave me alone?
Harry wrapped a hand around my arm stopping me. "Ni? Niall, I'm sorry, I don't know what's gotten into him." I sobbed into him, "Why does he hate me, Harry? Why can't people like me?"
Louis P.O.V.-
"That was kind of harsh, don't you think?" Liam commented, disgust clear on his face, watching Niall race out of the cafeteria, almost slipping from the water dripping off his body.
Harry stood up, nearly bumping chests with me. "You are such a dick! I can't believe you." He growled, pushing me out of the way and running after Niall. I might of taken it too far this time. I fake laughed as Zayn held up his fist to bump with mine, "Nice one man." He snickered. I swallowed the lump in my throat and laughed with him.
I mumbled some lame excuse, before following after the two boys. I opened the door and wandered down into the hallway. I bit the inside of my cheek as I heard loud sobs. "Why does he hate me, Harry? Why can't people like me?"
My heart broke hearing him so upset. I took in a deep breathe before rounding the corner to see them. Harry had his arms around Niall's smaller frame. Niall was shaking, obviously cold and upset.
