Chapter 3 : "Seoul"

The fansign event lasts for few hours.

But it takes you an hour or two more to settle down the whirlpool of feelings swirling you up..

After coming out of the hall, exhausted with excitement, you sit on a bench nearby spending almost two hours there, without speaking a word.

Everything has happened, you have witnessed it, experienced it, but it still feels like a dream...

Finally when you can pull yourself up, you look around and smile, your heart out..
You feel like screaming, "YES!  I MADE IT!! "

A bus to Gyeongbokgung just passes by.

Its now time for you to explore the city of your dreams..

The entire bus is like a small world, so many diverse races, so many tourists from all over the world speaking in different languages, it feels so great to listen to them.

You get down to see a completely different world.. The world of "Six Flying Dragons", " Love in the moonlight", "Hwarang" and all the other historical Kdramas that made you fantasise  about the Joseon dynasty and search numerous history books to know all you could, but Nothing could quench your curiosity until you visited "Seoul's Grandest".

The entry gate is HUGE, H-U-G-E and creates the most vivid picture of Korea's iconic image.

As you go inside, you see that you can either go around with a tourist group or alone. Naturally for a person like you, comfort is avoiding people, so you choose to be alone.

"If you want to take a tourist guide, it will cost you 44900won", the healthy man at the ticket counter says.

44,900 Won!!

No, you will better take the brochure.

You aren't a normal tourist after all, and its not that you haven't spent nights researching about this very land and hearing stories from your internet friends,  you can manage with a brochure, you think.

You pass through the large Heungnyemun gate followed by the Sujeongjeon hall.

Every corner of the halls is brightly painted with a contrast of pink and red with a touch of gold. Colourful roof, square tiled floors, red pillars...Korea is much more vibrant and joyous than what you had thought!

There are various chambers in the palace, some newly recreated without adulterating the original essence, but you like the Amisan garden most.

Its so romantic, that even a solitary person like you feel warm.

Also, the Hyangwonjeong Pairlion, artistically located at the middle of a frozen lake...

Inside that very province, there are stalls selling traditional costumes.

You look at the price tag and jump back...

As you board the bus to Bukchon Hanok village after your marvellous and memorable visit to Gyeongbokgung, you realise something...

Even though you had read a lot before writing, you had actually provided many wrong descriptions in your historical ff "Majestic Majesty".

Thank god, its not in Korean!
