Hello to anyone who is still here. I'm back. For real this time. I'd like to address why I wasn't active for so long, and what will happen to this story.
When I started writing this story, I was in middle school. I was going through some things and writing was my outlet. However, I lost my passion for it when school and personal problems consumed me.
I left Wattpad alone for a very long time. I never bothered to uninstall it, nor did I want to, simply because I still enjoyed the stories on here and I made friends on this platform that I wanted to stay in touch with.
A couple months ago, I got stuck in an emotional/mental rut. I had lost passion and motivation for everything. I no longer found joy in the things that I loved. I talked with my mother about this, and she suggested many things. One of them being writing. She told me how much she loved my stories, especially Diary of a Teenage Angel.
I revisited these ancient chapters and found myself laughing at my poor writing skills and comments left by friends. When rereading the chapters, I felt something light. A spark in my heart suddenly came to life, and I wanted to write again. A big thanks to my mother for getting me back on track!
Now to the meat of this. DoaTA will continue. However, I'll be making some changes. I'm going to unpublish all of the chapters and rewrite each one. Once I have rewritten them, then they will be republished. Then, the story will continue. In the mean time, there will be a prologue immediately following this author's note to give you a feel for my new writing style and the new tone of the story. Please have patience during this process.
