Chapter seven

ADAM'S POV:

"Adam." I smile at the lady at the front desk dressed in a corset like blouse that looked like it was sucking the life out of her. "lambert?" she questions me. I nod letting her know that I'm bringing my friend along. I looked over at tommy who was looking down at his feet, kicking at the tile floor. "This way mr.lambert." she stood and headed down the hall way to the rows of elevators. we stepped into the first one and she pressed the button for the 10th floor. Sauli was nose to phone on twitter.

tommy stood ideally in the back looking at what seemed like space. I hope he's alright. I was worried for him, he was acting strange at the house earlier and when we went to star bucks. I shivered and shook the negative thoughts off and started to focus on how I was gonna answer some expected questions I knew they were gonna ask. The elevator door opened and we stepped out into a retro looking office. "sir, your 3 o'clock just arrived." a man turned in the chair. "Ah yes mr. lambert. this way." the man stood and escorted us to a place that the man said was the photo shoot.

TOMMY'S POV:

"Amy run the first five pictures!" George the photographer yelled at his assistant as she scrambled for the development room. "Were gonna choose three from the five later." George stood and made his way to Adam and sauli. "that was great you two now were gonna head back to another office where we are gonna ask a variety of questions that our and your viewers would like to know." the two stood and Adam signals for me to follow and I do as he says. this whole time we were here Adam is literally the only one who acknowledges that I am a living being.

We all stumble into this little room where George pulls out a sheet of papers and a pen. He begins by naming the fan and stating the question. "Jizzel wants to know how did you guys meet?" the man looked up and at the couple and down at the pad in which he awaited they're answers. sauli spoke. "me and Adam actually met at a party. unexpected and out of the blue. we both just got out of a horrid relationship and wanted to move on." I gasped, almost choking. it felt as if I just got hit by an eighteen wheeler truck of hurt. Adam said that? a horrible relationship? I was horrible..

"Jenna_Sulbert234 asks 'what is the cutest thing all have ever done together as a couple?"

This went on for an hour. one "cute" couple questions after another. I started to rub at my left wrist. it felt like some one had tricked me into coming to hell. that what it felt like. hell. in fact Im sure it is. sitting at the other end of the room, watching the man you loved talk about another man like he was the love of his life. which by the glow in they're eyes I'm sure that was the case. and look at me. being that person to get in they're way. I want Adam to be happy. forever.

"So y'all have been together what 7 months already?" George smiled. "yeah now it's seven." Adam smiled, looking over at sauli. "So thinking of marriage? kids?" George urged. my heart stopped and it's as if the world slowed with anticipation and horror as to how Adam would answer this question. I sat dumbfounded and I swear I could hear my heart beat in my ears. I felt hot tears sting the corner of my eyes as the word yes floats from those soft lips Adam has. "I want to spend forever with him.. and a kid? I would like a little girl." a giggle escaped my mouth as a single tear darted down my cheek. Adam and sauli sat looking at each other they're eyes fucking glowing, the smiles on they're faces genuine. in love.

I stood gently and stumbled my way to the door. I looked back, wanting Adam to stop me. to tell me I was hearing things. to tell me he loved me. But that wasn't gonna happen. We don't live in some book or movie where the two end up together despite all else and they live happily ever after. no. this was reality. the reality where life gives you a shit hand and laughs in your face. the reality where the love of my life is with another man in which he ways is HIS love of his life.
