Chapter eight

ADAM'S POV:

"Thanks sauli, I'll call you when I'm on my way back home." I called to my boy friend as he stepped into the drivers seat to the car we came in. He nodded as I rolled up the taxi we called to take me to Tommy's house as sauli took our car home. I looked back down at tommy who was fast asleep, face buried in my chest. I held him in my arms like a mother her child, my arms balancing his upper body. "where to?" the lady asked as she pulled out of the drive way and into the road. I told her the address in which tommy lived, but to semi hurry cause tommy wasn't feeling well. "what happened? if you don't mind me asking..." the lady, who later I found was named hazel. I shook my head the tears that were building up in my eyes fell and I told her what happened.

"Word of advice, from a girl who lost her boyfriend to something similar to this, never leave him alone. cause if he's been through this kind of shit that you say he was, he's hiding something nasty. you can't leave him alone." I was half listening to this Indian lady. she spoke wisely but I was too far into paying attention to tommy that I did not heed her warning, which would haunt me years to come. tommy moved slightly as his hand griped onto the cloth on my chest.

"Ahdumm.. where?" his eyes opened slightly, those golden honey eyes peering through. "shhh, I'm taking you home glitter baby. go back to sleep. I'm here, no need to worry." He closed his eyes again and snuggled into me and soon was fast asleep. I ran a hand through his blond hair, getting stuck in some tangles.

"Thanks hazel." I looked back at the taxi, holding tommy close to me, carrying him like I did before once again. she smiled and asked if I needed anything else. "nah, I'm good, thanks." I smiled back weakly as I made my way up the side walk to the apartment complex. she probably didn't know who I was. which was a good thing cause then I would end up getting a million questions and asked for billions of photos. and if she did know then I have so much respect for not being those people to freak out, especially with time the way he was. I hope I see her again and become friends with her.

I made my way to his apartment door and shook tommy slightly to wake him. "mhh?" He stirred. my arms were aching and smarting. "where's the key tommy joe?" I sat him down at the top step, letting him lean against the stair rail. "my pocket." he spoke a little more awake than before but still sleepy. I leant down and reached into his back pocket. tommy gasped and jerked forward slightly. "I meant the front pocket." he said handing me the key. I blushed and took it from him I made my way to the door smiling at that moment slightly... I tilted my head in confusion. The door was open.

"Tommy did you leave the door unlocked?" I opened the door only to reveal three guys standing around. Two were my height and the other was a little taller than tommy joe. "who the fuck are you?" the one farthest to the left stood from the spot he was squatting by. "who are you?" I snapped my hands tightening into fists. my knuckles turning white. "were here for tommy joe and you, boy, aren't him." I heard tommy call from behind me asking who I was talking to. "why are you here? what did he do?" I asked hoping to god tommy stayed seated.

"Our money. tommy was supposed to sale some ice to our buyers and return the money." the middle one spit flipping out his switch blade. my blood boiled and i felt my humanly instinct tell me to turn grab tommy and run. "Adam what.." Tommy stood next to me griping onto the door frame for support. "GUYS?!" He screeched as he saw the three tall drug dealers standing before us. "hey there TJ, hope you didn't forget the money." the others brought out they're blades. Tommy shook and his eyes widened, fully awake now. but still weak. "y-yeah.." He brushed passed me. "tommy I-!" I attempted to tell him that I flushed the bag of ice. tommy shook his head. "no Adam." and continued on his way, swaying with every step towards the night stand in which he left the bag.
