Chapter 3

*the day after the dinner*

"Mommy! daddy! wake up! wake up!" Sophie yells jumping on spencer and Toby's bed. "what's up Sophie?" Toby asks rubbing his eyes. "did you say something toby? oh hi Sophie, why are you up so early?" spencer says just waking up. "I met a boy in preschool yesterday and he lives on the street can I go see him after school?" Sophie asks. "oh looks like our little girl has a crush on someone, I remember when I had my first crush on daddy, Sophie." Spencer says smiling at Toby. "and I remember having a crush on your mommy, here take him a batch of cookies after preschool, I'll make them spence, don't worry. I have the day off." Toby says putting his arm around his wife. "can we go to preschool now mom I want to see him." Sophie says. "what's his name soph?" Toby asks tilting his head a little bit to the left. "his name is Tony and he has hair just like daddy's and it's the same colour as auntie aria's hair." she says in excitement. "okay let's get you ready for preschool young lady." Toby says getting up and taking Sophie into the kitchen. spencer gets up and follows them into the kitchen to see her favourite coffee mug and coffee maker sitting there on top of something rapped in wrapping paper. "Toby is this from you?" Spencer asks smiling at him. "yeah it's something special to give to the baby when their Sophie's age." Toby says as spencer starts opening the wrapping paper. she opens the box to reveal its a locket with both their pictures in it. "Toby this is beautiful, I can't wait to give this to the new baby!" spencer says jumping into Toby's arms hugging him.

"Toby Philipe Cavanaugh I love you!"

(I know Philipe isn't toby's real name but I couldn't find it so I used keegan's middle name instead. and my story isn't done yet, stay tuned)
