In the dark night, another explosion was heard
Hermione and Draco woke up to it and couldn't fall back asleep
Hermione opened the door of her room and looked out a large glass window out looking the hogwarts grounds
Secretly Draco creeped up behind her and grabbed her from behind
Draco: What are you doing awake
He kisses her cheek
Hermione: I heard an explosion and couldn't sleep
Draco: It sounded awfully close
Hermione and Draco sat together on a couch
Draco played around with Hermione's hair and she stayed calm
A few minutes passed and a loud bang sounded closer to Hermione and Draco's location
Hermione went outside the room and walked around a bit trying not to get caught being out of her bed after hours
Draco stayed in the Dorm just in case something would happen in there
Hermione walked quietly down the hallway with her lit wand
A mysterious black "cloud" flew from one side of the hallway to the other
She gripped her wand tightly and stood still
She look around cautiously looking for the mysterious blackness
When she found it she casted Immobulus and it floated there stiff as a board
Draco heard no more explosions or anything like that and decided to look for Hermione
He found her with the darkness
Hermione didn't notice him
She casted a charm to take the misty cloak off the strange figure
Draco whispered to her if she was okay
Hermione: I'm perfectly fine
She replied quietly
The strange figure was oddly familiar to them
Hermione: Why do I feel like I know them
The figure had curly black hair and a black outfit
It was either that or something else
They couldn't really see anything of the person besides the hair
Draco saw a shadow in the distance come closer to them
Hermione thought of a bunch of "excuses" to why they were outside of their room
She was ready to speak up when the shadow grew closer
For some reason, nothing was there
She didn't know what to do
Hermione casted a quick spell on the hallway and waited
A few minutes later someone or something got hit by the spell
Hermione and Draco ran over to the thing
They saw...
