You know when I'm sad.
When I'm angry you don't push.
It's like we're the same person.
You care about me more than I care about myself.
You buy me what I need.
You paid for my cat when the humane society found him. (Although I'm pretty sure it's just because you liked the cat)
You have the same sense of humor as me.
You listen to me.
You want what's best for me, and when I said I didn't think college was for me you supported me.
You bought my favorite book for my birthday because deep down you knew I didn't want the other things I asked for.
You give me everything I need.
You love me.
And I love you, even though sometimes you don't know what to say.
Thank you for being my dad.
You are the best.Unlike the last poem about you I thought maybe I'd say all the things I love about you too.
I was in a real bad spot when I wrote the last one. And if everyone read that they'd only see the bad. And that is so not who you are. You're funny and kind and you're a weirdo like me. But you're my weirdo. You only said those things because you wanted me to feel comfortable in my own skin.Thank you for loving me even though I am a pain in the ass.
