The paper taunts her, begging the girl to fill it with the inner workings of her brain. She reaches forward, grasping the pen confidently. But before she can touch the pen to paper her protagonist protests

"NO" he screams, reaching out towards her "DON'T DO IT"

the antagonist shows up next, peering over her shoulder "do it" he whispers "finish it"

Suddenly there is everyone.

All the characters, surrounding the poor girl until she could hardly breathe

"Do it!"

"Stop"

"Kill him"

"Save her!"

Their voices mingle, the girl covering her ears as she cries out for someone, anyone to help her

Then, as suddenly as it had come, it was gone.

She was thrown back into reality, where her classmates were all staring at her intently, snickers traveling around the room like wildfire

She hurriedly grabs her stuff, making a beeline for the door.

Nobody stopped her.

Tears were steadily streaming down her face as she runs from the school, a mixture of fear and embarrassment fuelling her actions.

She didn't notice the pouring rain, didn't notice the car that had stopped a few seconds ago, didn't notice the man that had stepped out, following the distraught girl.

It wasn't until she was almost to her door when she noticed the man, and by then it was too late.

He held the chloroform filled rag to her face, holding her tightly against him

She was finally his, he had been planning this for too long.

He carried her now unconscious form to his car, where he gently straps her into a car seat prepared in the back.

She shifts, whining a little, but he just smiles, kissing her forehead

She was his. Nothing would hurt her now.
