As our best days had passed. Back to school again. We went to school together and have lunch together. This day the prom night was announced by the student governers. It will be this March. And literally 3 days to go before this month come.

I was pretty surprise when Sophie came near us. (I can't breath)

"Hey Mikey, wanna be my partner for the dance? " She asked.

I don't know what to say I just nodded my head. I mean it's like I can't talk so my head move on its own.

When Sophie left, Gen looked at me and said.

"Who is she? What is that prom thingy? "

I answered her question. And the bell ringed. But this time Gen went to the class first before me. When I get to the classroom everybody are talking about the prom, except for Gen. She is just sitting on her chair looking outside. She seems to be lonely so I went near her.

"Hey, are you okay? " I said.

"I dont understand. Everybody finds for a partner for that prom stuff but me? I'm not interested. " She said.

"But you should find for a partner, cause its the night where you do all the stuffs you want. I mean everything you want! " I said while smiling at her.

She looked at me and stood up. She left me. I don't know what got into her. But I think she is mad.

Gen's POV

What is wrong with this people? Their acting really obsessed with that prom. Mikey already have a partner. So I don't know who will I go with, I wish someone just popped in here like a prince charming and will me ask to go to the dance.. like..

"Hey beautiful, you already have a partner or nah? " Someone on my back said that.

When I turned around it was Ken. The famous rich boy. Ugh. Seriously? Him?

I smiled at him and turned around but he hold my hands.

"You havent answered my question yet" He added and smiled.

"Ken, I don't know if I'll go.. " I was about to continue what I'm saying but he smiled again and say..

"I'll take that as a YES.. "

I admit he is really handsome but I don't find him attractive. He's just so boastful. He's not like Mikey, humble and cute. Oh, Why am I thinking about this?

After he left all the girls went to me. And asked..

"Seriously? You'll be Ken's date? I want to be his date! " The same thought of their questions keep repeating all over and over again.

NIGHT

Me and Mikey are still not talking until he started.

"I heard Ken asked you for the dance.. " he said.

"Yeah, I already have a date for that prom they are talking about. " I said.

"We better be prepared. Ill be buying clothes tomorrow, wanna come? " He asked.

"Okay." I said.

After we ate dinner. I prepared for bed cause I was really tired.

As time pass by, I still can't stop thinking about my family. How are they in there. My tears started falling.

MORNING

They canceled school for everyone to prepare for the prom. And it was really rainy that day.
