Prompt: Importance of Social Media
The Social Media is a double-edged sword. On one end, it is an immensely helpful platform that allows people who are miles away to be able to connect with each other. The other end dictates a total representation of pandemonium, except people attack each other with words and take things way too out of context. Let me introduce you to the complicated world of social media, the ugly side and the much more preferred side.
Despite its tendencies to be the most suitable breeding grounds for toxicity, social media is now a really big part of our lives. Not only will the Politicians use to boost their standing in the candidacy but it can also be used as a means of announcing the relevant issues and finding other people who share the same perspective as you. It is a great platform to voice out your thoughts and concerns.
Of course, too much of a good thing is unheard of because this is the part where the productive conversations where your brain cells don't die are now replaced by the "Social Justice Warriors" who think they are doing the minority a favor, but it's really about being in control. What you post on social media, can either make you or break you. There are eyes watching your every move and one wrong move will follow you forever because what goes into social media can never ever come back out.
You may not care about nonsensical issues that go around social media, but you can't deny that it is, in fact, a part of our culture where technology is further advancing. Be smart in the use of social media, and you shall master the skill of not being annoying.
