The 10 Doors

One

So I, Kacy Selato, am moving to one of the most breathtaking schools in my area. Many of my friends go there, and now I'm finally accepted. I'll be meeting my best friend again, Janiyah. 

I miss her so much, last time I saw her was 10th grade summer time. And that for sure, was a very long time ago.

But I can finally meet my bestie again, and that's just the beginning of my story

"Honey, I'm going to miss you so much. I can't believe your leaving me." My mother said in sarcasm. She never loved me anyways

"I'm going to miss you too" I said, not in sarcasm, I actually meant it, as if she would ever find out.

  Lisa, ran upstairs to get something for me somehow. She finally came back down after three minutes

"Honey I am going to miss you so much, oh my god. I can't believe you are leaving me"  My sarcastic mom said, and she was driving.

I responded to her sarcasm by saying "I am going to miss you, Lisa (my sister) and Liam (my step dad)

Lisa ran upstairs to "get" something for me, she came downstairs 3 minutes later with a beaded bracelet and necklace 

"I stayed up all night" She said it me. I doubt it, she hates me. Last week, she chased me around with a knife.

I hugged her and thanked her. Tbh I am going to miss her. Kinda.

I thanked and hug her because to be honest i am going to miss her ..... kinda.

I get into my moms car, Lisa and Liam followed. I began to text my bestie Janiyah to see if she left her house yet. And this was our conversation...

"Hey best friend..." 

"Yeah "

"Did you leave your house yet" 

"No"

OMG REALLY" 

And then our conversation was over just like that.

It was a 3 hour drive from where I live to my new school or should I say college.

Anyways fast forward to when we reach and me,my mom ,and stepdad was crying and spend 4 hours talking and packing out and decorating my dorm.

My theme for my dorm was suppose to be teal and gold but sadly we forgot to stop at Walmart to get the things I need.

 So since I could drive I volunteered to go to Walmart by myself and like always my annoying sister wanted to come with me,but this time I let her come because turns out she can pick out some good things.

We get to Walmart and I am exhausted because the traffic was horrible.we get in and Walmart it is packed with people that I saw at the college.

Anyway, we buy what we have to buy and leave and I was pretty pleased with what I got.we came out the store with me smiling uncontrollably, and this guy I am guessing goes to my college, comes up to me and say "hey you look pretty good for a girl your height".I looked at him with a disgusted look and replied saying "and you look ugly for a light skin".

He told me that was harsh but I walked away sticking up the middle finger while my little sister followed me...

Little did I know he was the person who tried to.....
