The next morning Ana got up and got ready for work. She stopped by the café and ordered choc malt and two cookies. When she arrived at work she sat around her table and got busy. She had an open house that was scheduled for Thursday which gave her five days to plan. But knowing Ana she wouldn't use her weekend to do any work it was her rest period so basically she had approximately three days. She promoted her open house on her 'Zillow Page' ensuring to include details about her open house and making herself the exclusive agent for the listing. Ana researched on the market data and studied her competing listings so she would be prepared to speak about the competition and the recent sales. She made printouts of all competing listings in the immediate area so that in the event a potential buyer doesn't have interest in the house that is being held open so she can still potentially work with them on another one of the homes they might be considering. In the end, her extra prep will help demonstrate that she is the trusted neighbourhood expert that they should be working with.

Next she opted to make postcards which remained a tried and true method of finding leads. Ana used 'Prospects PLUS' which has a variety of professionally-designed templates to choose from to create, print and mail her beautiful real estate postcards, marketing by neighbourhood, subdivision and demographic, and schedule and track her mailings. The schedule of her open house was on the day the listing hit the market. Convenience is the key. An open house on the day she list allow people to view the home quickly and it also show those people that there is a lot of interest in the home and in turn generates more action versus just a bunch of lookers. This will ultimately lead to more offers, more competition, and a higher sale price for your sellers. Ana focused on three features that made her listing stand out from her competition which were: it had more square footage, it had more bedrooms and also higher ceilings. There were more features but she chose to stick to those for now.

She put a pause on her planning for the open house and attended to other urgent deals. The data was entered into the system as a backup storage as well as the tangible documents. Ana worked nonstop until it was 12 when she decided to take her lunch break. She called her friend Rochelle who worked across the street to grab lunch with her. Since the diner wasn't far they both walked. The wind was nice and clean outside making the walk wonderful and precious on their bodies. They entered the diner and sat down. Menus were on the table so they browsed through and selected what they wanted to have. The waiter arrived in a few minutes and they placed their orders. Giving each other their full attention they started a conversation.

"Where have you been? I haven't heard from you in so long. When was it since last week?" Ana exclaimed while exaggerating.

Rochelle looked at Ana and shook her head while smiling.

"What am I going to do with you? You are so extra! I was busy with work just like you are. We are career minded woman so it is expected from time to time." Rochelle said to Ana

They both laughed and agreed that it was true. Being career women do take most of their time. They hugged and continued talking until their food arrived. Ana's plate consisted of Coconut Curry Fish with Sautéed Potatoes while Rochelle's plate had Chicken Parmesan- which consisted of chicken breast stuffed with basil, melted mozzarella and parmesan cheese with a rich tomato sauce and mashed potatoes and ice tea beverage for both of them. The lunch was superb for both of them. It had them licking their tongues and fingers. They ordered two large French fries afterwards as they sat and catch up a little before their one hour lunch break was ended.

The break came to an end and Ana and Rochelle hugged each other and promised to spend more time together tomorrow night since today was Friday then they went their separate ways. Back in her office Ana got back to work. After putting together the files she went to her boss' office and sat down. They went over the files and what was missing that the other company should send but didn't, to see if all the cheques were of the agreed amount and if the dates were also correct. When they were through with checking they had to make numerous phone calls to get the correct information as well as documents. It was very tedious dealing with other people that were so busy and frustrated as she was on a daily basis. Some were rude and obnoxious telling her that they didn't have time to do this or that at the moment because they were swamped. Ana had to remind them that the closing date was tomorrow and she needed it right away.

They drove her crazy. Sometimes she wondered how she was still sane after dealing with people like them over the years. Finally the documents were sent and she copied, had her boss signed the, them filed it. Today was crazy hectic for Ana and she just wanted to go home. Almost everyone was gone and she decided that she was leaving right now as well. She grabbed her hand bag and went to the bathroom for a quick second then in no time she was in the parking lot getting into her car. Ana drove off and into the heavy traffic ahead. They were bumper to bumper and it made her irritated. There was noise of various horns blowing each other while motorist stuck their head out of the window shouting.

They were all like raging bulls at the moment and Ana couldn't stand another second. So she opted to turn on her radio she wasn't in the mood to listen her playlist. She tuned into her favourite station then leaned back onto her car seat as she waited for the traffic to ease up enough for her to take that exit and go on another route home. But that didn't help the other route seemed to be even worse. Even an ant crawled faster than they were doing at the moment. She listened to her music which relaxed her a bit so she didn't wind down her window and shout at the vehicles in front of her. Apparently there was an accident which is taking forever to clear. She hated staying at work late on Fridays because the traffic is always heavy. Like where the heck do so many vehicles come from? Ana asked no one in particular.

In three hours she finally arrived home. That traffic drained the last bit of energy she had. It usually took her just an hour to get home now it took three. She was planning to stop at a nearby restaurant and grab some take out but couldn't. Ana opened her door and went inside she ordered pizza then went to take a hot bath ensuring to add some Epsom salt so it could relieve the pain. The pizza arrived and she ate then went on her bed stretching her limbs. She checked her phone it was already after 11.

Tomorrow is a new day. It sure will bring some excitement and fun for whatever Rochelle was planning for them. She was the definition of fun and extra. Ana couldn't wait to find out where they were going tomorrow. So she went to bed anticipating the events of the next day.
