When temptation knocks imagination usually answers. -Dan Bennett
They left the party around 4 am. Ana was so tired from all that dancing and standing that she went straight to bed after arriving home. Her feet were swollen and she didn't even bother to take her clothes or her shoes off. As her head hit the pillow she was out like a light.

Ana woke up around 1 pm. She felt groggy, exhausted and her throat was parched. After washing her face and brushing her teeth she took a shower got dressed and went downstairs. She took a bottle of water from the case and downed it in one go. Taking another she drank half of it and rested the bottle on the table. She turned her kettle on then went to prepare breakfast and lunch in one meal. It was a Beef and Swiss wrap with a muffin. A tea bag was placed in her cup and the hot water was poured onto it with some sugar. She carried her food into the living room where she ate while watching the TV. The movie lasted for about an hour after which she washed the dishes. Then she put some clothes in the machine and while it did its work Ana did a little cleaning of the house. In her opinion nothing is better than work to get rid of laziness and tiredness. The house wasn't in need of much cleaning because she normally did a little cleaning here and there when she had little time and with her living alone she doesn't cause much mess.
After she had finished cleaning and the laundry was complete she got dress in her gym suit which consisted of a bra and leggings then pulled a sweater on over it. She grabbed her keys, phone and her purse and left. Sunday was usually her day for a soul stroll to wherever her feet led her. She made light conversation with her neighbours and passersby as she strolled. First she went to the park where she walked and jogged around the field for a while then she headed down the street. She didn't feel like track her steps today like she normally did and so didn't. After a while Ana plugged the ear buds in her ears. Her favourite playlist came on as she tapped the music app and she clicked on it. It was mostly contemporary R & B as well as dance hall songs. She made sure that it was auto select then continued on her way.
Ana sang along as loud as she felt like depending on the song. Persons were staring at her but she didn't care she was a free woman and was free to do what she wanted after all she wasn't paying rent on her mouth and this was definitely not like ancient times. She couldn't understand how those people were so obedient back then especially the black race. There was no way she could have done that she would have surely thrown a fit. And surely that would have made her get shot pretty quickly but who care better she was dead than being treated unfairly. She shook her head to stop think about the sudden long line of thoughts that rose in her mind. It was always like this when things like this happen she would travel so far back in the past and compare the future. This was her soul stroll after all she wouldn't let these people ruin her day with them thinking that they were so high and mighty.
She let her focus went back to her music and continued her stroll while she cleansed her mind and soul of the all bad thoughts and things that she wanted to do or that she already did as she had initial planned hence her soul stroll. She was at a pedestrian crossing and since the red palm of the hand sign was showing she pressed the button at the side of the post and waited. Her eyes roamed from side to side. Just as the sign changed to the white stick-man walking, she stepped off onto the road. As soon as she could the car that approached didn't stop and just came so close to her and was about to turn around the corner. Ana was so shocked.
"You fucking imbecile are you crazy? You should have hit me. I hope you have insurance you idiot, how did you even get a license and can't even drive," she ranted and shouted after the car even after it was at a distance down the road.
Pissed she continued on her way across the road she even took on a few other drivers
"You all better wait until I cross and don't bother with the antics or I will throw a few stones and break your windows," she screamed even though they were patiently waiting for the light to turn green.
Some of them wind their windows up and turned their music up avoid listening to her they was wondering if she was mad or something.
"Yes fear me bitches I'm crazy as hell," she informed them and smiled then went on her way.
Ana couldn't believe that she was trying to cleanse her soul and these people were getting her angry causing her to say things she didn't want to making her soul even dirtier than it already was. She hissed her teeth and just said fuck it her soul wouldn't get clean at least not today. She went to a diner she saw at the corner of the road. Ana sat at the counter on a high stool after entering the building and made her-self comfortable. A waitress came to her and she ordered a smoothie a chicken burger and some fries. She waited for the waitress to come back and resumed listening to her song. Ana began to feel a bit weird it was as if something was piercing her back so she glanced behind her and scanned the area as well as outside. She didn't see anything out of place or anyone looking at her but she could have sworn someone was looking at her. So she turned around and faced the counter once more, just in time as the waitress brought her order over.
She wiped her hands with the sanitized wipes and dived in taking a huge bite of her burger and poking a few fries in afterwards. Soon afterwards a guy came and sat beside her. She was too into her food to look up she was afraid it might disappear or someone beside her might snatch a few of her fries. So she continued to eat.
"Wow the burger looks scared with those big bites," he commented.
Ana was wondering who the heck would dare say that to her. In her mind she was like, who the heck this nigga thinks he is, I eat however I wanted to. She took another big bite and calmed herself a bit. She should really cleanse. But why was it that these people chose to provoke her when she decided to. Slowly she pried her eyes away from her burger and look up at the pest that was bothering her and being rude.
She was surprised to see Randy staring at her and smiling. Oh shit I just called him pest she said and mentally slapped herself. Ana smiled and looked so innocent.
"Oh hey Randy it's you. Good thing it was or else you definitely wouldn't like what I was about to say," she told him.
Her thoughts were in line with some ugly expletives. Yeah he definitely wouldn't like that.
