A/N: Hey there everybody I'm baaaaaack! Did you miss me? (...No Ellie, we're very annoyed what the actual hell woman?) I know I know I'm sorry it took me almost a year to get this finished but this isn't the only thing I've finished for this story. I've got lots of bits and pieces finished for several more chapters that just need to be woven together and polished so I promise the next one will NOT take until 2020 to get more to you lol. Last year I was going through a lot of really huge changes. I won't bore you with the details but two moves and a job change later I'm finally getting back and track. I also needed a bit of a break to take care of my mental and physical health which have not been the greatest over the last couple years. Now I'm happy to say that I'm back and expect to see updates here as well as some other new things that I'll be starting on soon.
Hope you enjoy this and that you're not disappointed after all this waiting. Thank you all again for your patience with me. Love you All!
Eugene laid against Miles stomach, sketching little rivers of fresh sweat across the ridges of his body. He bit his lip in an effort to steel himself and re-balance the thoughts that whirled around his head. There were questions he wanted answered but, the vulnerability of the moment left him nervous. His convictions were no longer as strong as they had been at the beginning of the night. So, he closed his eyes again, hoping that the feeling would pass.
Miles breathing had begun to even out, but still his heart pounded against his chest walls. He'd broken the cardinal rule that he'd set concerning Eugene. No kink play of any kind until he was sure of where they stood. It was something that they both agreed to, but had been tip toeing around the boundary line since the word go. Each time they had been together things would roam a little more towards their old narrative. It started with a love bite on the neck before Jeff's party. It was small, and it wasn't like vanilla couples didn't leave hickies on their partners. Although their status was still unclear, it wasn't unlike Miles to want to mark his territory. If not a collar that says 'He's mine forever' then at least a bruise that says 'He's mine for the weekend.'
What started as love bites became more and more vicious and in less noticeable places. In turn Miles back had turned into a mosaic of scratches both shallow and deep. As he laid on his back now he could feel several particular strokes that stung and where likely leaving small traces of red on the sheets beneath him. He could remember the exact moment that each of them had been inflicted. They all burned with their own sort of radiance that felt more like the fires of lust then of love. It left Miles to consider that this transgression could spell disaster for what they had been trying to rekindle.
Some of his fears are put to rest when Eugene looks up at him and he's still able to see that glow of contentment in his eyes. That wasn't to much was it? He asked. Eugene shakes his head, scooting himself closer to Miles to drape even more of his body over him.
No, I forgot how much fun it was actually... It's been a while, Eugene admits as he curls a leg across Miles' torso and buries his face into the crook of the other mans neck. He licks a bit of the remaining sweat from the stubble he finds there causing Miles to laugh.
Don't do that. I'm all sweaty! He insisted.
Tastes good. I missed the taste of you, Eugene sighs. The sentiment of the words shake Miles to his core. Not just because he's aroused by Eugene saying such things in his raspy tone, but because of how guarded he's been since arriving.
After having a complete break down the first night Eugene had been difficult for Miles to get a read on. This was especially true in any sort of intimate setting. It's not to say that there still wasn't an ease to it. There's a certainty in being with the same person for a long time. You come to know what it is that they want . While Miles had no problems reading the cues as to what Eugene was asking him for physically, meeting his emotional needs was proving to be much more difficult.
