"Do you really think this is necessary?" Youngjae asked as Yugyeom applied some light make-up on his face. "I mean it's not like I'm going to some kind of fashion show..."
"Might be," He did some eyeliner here and some highlighter there. Youngjae wasn't even aware that his best friend owned all those kinds of stuff. "But you need to look stunning for your date!"
Youngjae rolled his eyes at the word 'date'
"Perfect!" Yugyeom smiled, obviously happy with his work. He then proceeded to drag Youngjae to the nearest mirror. "Have a look."
The boy looked at his reflection and to say that he was stunned was an underestimation. The younger got for a subtle, natural look which seemed to apparently suit Youngjae very well. Yugyeom looked at him, waiting for a response, but in the end the smile which formed on Youngjaes lips was enough for him.
"Now, one last thing." Yugyeom said before he walked to the other side of their shared room, rummaging around in Youngjaes closet. He came back with some black, ripped skinny jeans which Youngjae hasn't touched for ages already and a simple but stylish black shirt. "Wear this and you'll have him wrapped around your finger in a heartbeat."
While the blonde boy got changed, Yugyeom fished something else from his wardrobe. He looked at him before raising an eyebrow. "A choker?"
Yugyeom simply nodded while grinning. He handed it to Youngjae who then tried to put it on by himself, seemingly struggling.
"Wait let me help you." The taller boy stepped behind him, his bottom lip caught between his teeth in concentration as he carefully put the noble choker on him. "Is it alright? Not too tight?"
Youngjae shook his head before taking another look in the mirror. The choker was made out of leather, the inside soft so it's laying comfortable on the skin. A little chain with a small sapphire-like crystal was attached to the middle of it. Where did he even get this?
"Don't I look too emo-like?" Youngjae snorted.
"N-no definetly not!" Yugyeom eyed him from head to toe once again, but it was impossible for him to find any imperfections. This look was like it was made for Youngjae. "You rather want Bambam to judge you?"
"Definetly not." The response came fast like an arrow and the two giggled before Yugyeom stepped closer, his eyes fixated on Youngjae in the mirror.
"But no honestly. You look amazing Jaejae." He said, his voice low. "If you weren't my best friend I'd want to date you too."
The boys laughed, but something in Yugyeoms voice sounded so serious.

Youngjaes heart beat faster and faster with every step as he was slowly approaching the beach. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down, but it seemed to be impossible. God why are you so nervous? It's not like it's the first time you're meeting him. Get yourself together!
As the boy arrived he was surprised to see Jaebum already waiting. Youngjae took all of his courage before running to him, the elder greeting him with a soft, but chic smile on his lips.
"I'm glad you came." Jaebum said, the smile on his lips not fading. He guided the two of them to the nearest bench, one which probably had the best view of the wide ocean. As soon as they sat down though, awkward silence spread over them. Youngjae swallowed.
"S-so how was your day so far?" Youngjae spoke up after what felt like hours. He swallowed hard though after he realized that this probably sounded unnatural. Great.
"Pretty lame actually. Just the same old daily-routine." He let out a light-hearted chuckle and Youngjae was surprised he didn't even question his way of acting. "And yours?"
