Amanda's P.O.V
So here we are, going to Dairy Queen. I am a bit sad because I can't afford tickets and stuff.
But whatever, I'll have to watch chick flicks like every other birthday of mine. Or maybe I could get a job? Yeah, work until I get enough money or something.
"We're here!" Miranda squealed as she leaped out the car. I got out silently waiting for my plan to begin. Jackie comes round to my side and puts her arm over my shoulder. "You okay?" she asks.
"Just fine. " I replied coldly. Jackie raises her eyebrow and I quickly hide my grin that was forming. "Look, if this is about that concert-" "I said I'm fine okay?" I raised my voice a little. By the time we walked in Miranda already saved a table for us. Our waitress was a short, skinny girl with ginger hair, and the most amazing eyes, smiling widely at us. "Hi! My name is Melanie and I'll be your waitress this afternoon." I already love this girl. "Can I get some icecream for you pretty girls?" "May I please have the chocolate-" "We'll have the threeway double deluxe please" Miranda smiled deviously. Melanie smiled again, writing down our order. "Ten to fifteen minutes" She added as she walked to another table. I guess now is my chance.
"Jackie, Miranda, since we can't afford to go to the concert, I decided that I'm getting a job." I waited for their reactions.
Miranda smiled softly. "That's actually what we wanted to talk to you about." My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Jackie and I have been talking, and we actually were going to tell you that we do have enough money, and you're going to the concert. And because we love you that much, we got you meet and greet tickets too." Miranda was now smiling widely. Did I hear right? I'm going to my idol's concert? I'm about to burst into tears. "Oh my god, you guys are the best!" I hugged them both over the table. Melanie came back with our huge icecream we ordered, and while we ate, I quickly pulled out my phone. Going into the twitter app, I tweeted:
Going to the concert , I'm so happy tbh
Huh, it feels good to finally say that.
I'm going to my idol's concert.
