I felt like an idiot for just randomly leaving his house yesterday, but I was no nervous I just had to get out of there.

Nothing like that had ever happened to me before and it felt weird. I tried to forget about it as I walked into school. I saw Thalia walking a few steps ahead of me and I sped up. " Hey."

Thalia turned, recognizing my voice. " Hey Chase."

I smiled.

" You ready for Sedgewick?" Thalia asked me.

I grinned, " Always."

Sedgewick was the school we were going against today after school. They were pretty good competition. It was a home meet so I really hoped we won.

" Hey wise girl." I heard a voice behind me.

I turned around, only one person called me wise girl.

" Hey Percy." I said.

Thalia turned to, she made a face. " Kelp head." She said, acknowledging Percy.

" Pin cone face." Percy retorted.

" What's with you guys and nicknames?" I asked.

Percy shrugged, "They just happen."

I nodded, not pushing it.

We walked forward as a group of three. Shouldering our way through the crowded school halls. Someone pushed into me and I fell over, not seeing them in time to move. Percy caught me,and arm holding my forearm and another going around my waist.

As soon as he touched me I squeaked. I. Annabeth Chase. Squeaked. Like a mouse.  I blushed and my free hand moved up to tug on my ear as Percy pulled both us of up.

Thalia smirked and I scowled at her.

" Nice catch kelp head." Thalia said. " I've gotta go. See you tonight Annabeth."

Thalia turned and sauntered down the hallway, she was met halfway by a girl in a grey jacket covering up her shirt and jeans with converse. Who was that? Probably a senior I didn't know.

I turned to Percy and reached up to tug on my ear again. I started tugging on it before realizing what I was doing. I tugged on my ear when I was nervous. And seaweed brain over there would. Not. Make. Me. Nervous.

Percy started walking forward. " Come on." He said. "We'll be late for class."

"Huh?" I asked. "Oh! Right!" I cried out.

I grabbed Percy's arm and started speed walking to Greek.

We walked in just as the bell was ringing and when I saw a few dirty looks from girl I quickly realized why and let go of Percy's arm. Still, I glared back. Didn't matter if he was with me or not you don't glare at people unless you've got a good reason. It's not polite.

Class started and I did my best to pay attention, but somehow, my thoughts kept drifting to a certain black haired boy.
