Monica's POV
I remember it like it was yesterday the day I found out I was pregnant. Pacing the floor up and down the stairs thinking how am I going to raise a child. I finally found the courage to tell my mom three months later. She wasn't mad nor sad but she asked me how was I going to do both college and raise my kid. Little did she know I had my whole life planned out. Sitting here reminiscing about how people judged me told me I wasn't going to be nothing that I would end up on welfare not nocking anyone down who was on welfare but it wasn't me. My mom came into town to right in time for me to give birth. She was shocked but happy to see that we were doing good living in 4 bedroom condo. I remember the pain I felt as i laid next to my man crying, he woke up and said bae is it time I couldn't speak but based off the soaked wet bed he knew. Jordan droved us to hospital and couldn't control his tears of joy because it was our first child. The doctors came in and said its time to push, no time for medication just push. Before we new it Lazion Tyrell Jones made his arrival November 17th 1987.
Jordan said he didn't want me to have a baby shower because he could buy our son the world. Soon as we came home from the hospital his mother and my mother stayed for two weeks to help us out so we wouldn't fall behind in class. Thank God they did stay cause Jordan had a football game out of state against Florida State University and I knew the help will come in handy.
