The Girl From The Crowd

S I X [ ZACH'S POV ]

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! SHE TOOK MY BESTFRIEND'S SHIRT!! She also claimed it that it's hers. How dare she! I'm in the living room with Jonah, while the others are with Logan. I look at Jonah's loptop, that he's booking a flight to Dallas, Texas. "Why are you booking a flight?! Are you trying to send me home?" I look at Jonah and he didn't reply. I hear the doorbell but I didn't want to move, it's probably her.

"I'll get it!" Jack shout as he ran down here to open the door. It's Christina. "Man, I thought Bean will open." She fake frown and Jack laugh. "Well, your boyfrie is upstairs with Daniel and Logan, while Patrisha's out, probably somewhere we don't know. And these two.." Jack point at us. "I don't know what they're doing, but! I bet Pat's on her way home." He smile and Christina nod.

"Also, you might want to talk to our little boy here. He seems mad when Patrisha 'stole' his bestfriend's shirt. Which happens to be exactly hers." He added "It's true! It's my bestfriend's shirt! No one in the world would have that shirt but my bestfriend!" I angrily say as he rolled his eyes.

"I'm back!" I look at Christina's back, it's Patrisha. "Oh my god! Christina, is that you?!" She fangirl and I roll my eyes. "Hey, girl!" The both hug and break when Corbyn, Daniel and Logan come down. "Patrisha" we all look at Jonah with a smile on his face. "I already booked you a flight tomorrow afternoon. You'll be with Zach." He say "WHAT?!" Patrisha and I chorus "Anyone but her?! Seriously Jonah?!" I say "Zach, it's your freaking hometown. Show her what Dallas is right now. Give her a tour." Daniel smile. "No! I will certainly not! She's a thief! She stole my bestfriend's shirt!"

"Oh, no." Corbyn come near Christina and give her a kiss in the cheek. "Fine. Have it on your way. I'm just going to stay at my grandparents' house anyway, and maybe visit my bestfriend. That's all." Patrisha say and go upstairs. I groan. I can't stand her! "I can't believe you." I look at Christina. "What?! If she didn't sto--" "She didn't, okay? She told me that her bestfriend gave it to her almost ten years ago, and it's been a long time." Jonah say

"Team up with her then! Don't come near me when she admit herself that she stole it!" I say and go upstairs. When I got up, I was about to enter my room when I heard sobbing on my left. It's Patrisha's room. "Zach, I'm sorry that I left you ten years ago." Me? I don't know her ten years ago! I go near her room, to hear more about this 'Zach' guy that she's talking about.

"I left you to pursue my dreams, but I didn't. I left because somone lied to my parents that I have been chosen to be one of the Disney show's characters." Why would anyone lie about it? I mean, I wasn't there when Ben told the boys everything about her past, but... "Perhaps, I was chosen to be a daughter of a company's manager then." I hear laugh but the sad one. "I wrote a song that would almost fit in like the both of us, but.. Worth of try. I miss you. I hope you're still in Dallas." I hear a click inside. Is she recording herself crying?! I mean, that's kind of.. creepy.

"What the heck are you doing?" I turn around to see Jack and Jonah. "Uhm, about to go to bed?" I say. Please let it slip. Please. "Going to bed but been hearing her crying? Is that you call going to bed?" Jonah say. Dammit. "Okay! You got me, I just want to know who is that 'Zach' guy she's talking about inside." They both look each other as Jack eyeing Jonah to me. What? "Zach, you really want to know?" I nod. "Go to my room when everyone's asleep." Jonah say as I nod again then go to my room.

I'm nervous on what he's going to tell me. Is he a boyfriend that she can't stand to be away for so long? A brother? I keep thinking too much when I hear 'good nights' out on my door. Aha! I'mma sneak now. I give two more minutes just to make sure, no one will come out to their room so that I can sneak. When I did, I open my bedroom door giving myself plus two stealth and head towards to Jonah's room.

When I got there, Jonah and Corbyn are there. "What?! I thought--" "Jack doesn't want to, so I sent Corbyn instead." Jonah smile. I went to Jonah's bed and sit next to him while Corbyn's in the chair. Probably thinking. "Spill the tea, now." I seriously said and the both look each other as they both nod and look at me.

"Hang on tight, 'cause it's a long story." Jonah say.

I wake up looking at my bed, I sigh. I can't believe that it happened to her. She probably lost everything now, then this 'Zach' guy is her childhood bestfriend. She left him for the 'show' like she said last night. Then now, she wanted to go to Dallas because of him. But my story's almost same. My childhood bestfriend was sent away for unknown reason, I don't know what but she's probably somewhere maybe rich than me.

Last night, Corbyn is the one with Jonah because Jack's her suicide watch, and today, I'm leaving with her to go to Dallas. I stand up as I get dress, just to prepare for the day. When I got down, Patrisha and Christina are the only ones awake.

I hid behind the wall but left my head show, just to see what they're up to. "Christina, I'm about to meet him today and I'm scared. What if.. What if he doesn't want me?" Patrisha worriedly say. "It's going to be fine. You'll be with Zach Herron. You know that. He'll keep you company." Christina say, looking like a proud mum. Technically, I'm still curious about this 'Zach' guy even though I know half of its story, but I might know when we get to Dallas and meet him, right? I mean, what could go wrong?

After their little talk, they went outside. Probably some fresh air. I was about to leave to where I am standing when Jack come panicking. "WHERE'S PAT?! DID SHE COMMIT SUICIDE?! NO! PLEASE TELL ME SHE'S OKAY, ZACH!" He worriedly say as the others went down, looking at Jack shockingly. "Zach? Where is she?" Jonah asked "She's outside with Christina, probably for fresh air." I say as they all calmed down.

"I thought we're gonna lose her." Jack say. "Don't worry, it won't happen." I smile. "Are you ready to go by the way?" Corbyn smile and I nod. No turning back, I'm going to Dallas in a few hours.

Few hours past by, I'm packing my things up for my flight but then I remember, I have few things left on my house, so why not left things behind and bring the important ones, right? "Zach! Hurry up! Don't want to be delayed on the flight!" I hear Corbyn said downstairs. "Don't worry, I'm on my way." I sing and then laugh.

Finally! In Dallas! Good to be home! I look at Patrisha who is sleepy after two to three hours flight. "Man, the baby's cry won't stop! I'm sleepy!" She stretch her arms like she just woke up. "You ready to go home?" I smile. "I'm not going home yet. I'm not even in United Kingdom, Zach." She laugh. "I know that. I mean, home by mean your grandparents duh." I say. "Of course! Let's go!" She grabs my hand and left the airport, we got outside and waiting for a cab.

When we got a cab, she tell the driver the address of her house, but when we get there, I'm surprised.

"You my neighbor?!" I shockingly say. We're in front of her house and my home is on her right side. I'm not even joking. When we get to pay the cab, we look at each other's house. "Me? Your neighbor? You live far!" She say. "No, no, no. I live here." I say pointing at my house. "So, you my bestfriend's... brother?" I shake my head 'no' I mean, I have a brother but he's young.

"Then what?" She's confused, and so am I. "Zachy!" I turn around to see Reese and Ryan running towards me and mum trying to stop them. They both hug me when they got here. What can I say, I have the sweetest siblings. Hahaha. When they broke thw hug, Reese look at Patrisha weirdly and eyes got wide. "Ryan! It's Patrisha! The one in mama's story!" She say. Wait. What?

Mum come with a smile. As always. "Mum, what did you tell?" I say and she laugh. "Oh, the story. I tell them about your childhood, Zach." She smile. Reese run to Patrisha and hug her so tight. What's going on?
