THE BOYS ARE BLAMING ME FOR EVERYTHING I'VE DONE. I know what I did, and I regret it. I'm at my room, looking for my songbook. I know hid it inside my drawer yesterday
and now I can't find it. That songbook has been there for me since almost my life, and I wrote tons of songs in there. I even wrote a song for her.I was about to go down to ask one of the boys if they have seen a book on my room, when suddenly, at Jack's room, I hear something. It wasn't a alarm clock, not a call from a phone, and not even him snoring. It's Jack singing a song. A song that no one heard of but me.
I get so caught up in me, that I don't realise what I'm missin'.
All of my priorities, never put you in my plans.Everytime we get closer I pushed you away, pulled you right back just to give you the pain. If I was your sinner then you were my saint.
Guilty of breaking your heart.
I lie here awake,
Thinking of all the games I've played.
I let you wait,
Hundreds of promises that I,
I never made,
I fell forever in a daze,
Then you walked away,
Cause of the words I didn't say. What the hell, Jack. You got my songbook and now singing the songs inside of it, also. It's not just Jack who's inside. Corbyn is also there.
There is no me without you,
When you don't realise what you're missin', this time I'm on something different, when I show you what for real.Daniel?! What the heck!! They're not taking this to be our song right?
Everytime we get closer, I won't pushed you away, pull you right back just to give you the pain, I won't be your sinner but you'll be my saint.
Guilty of giving my all.
Fuck you all, I'mma go buy a new one. But my songs for her is inside that notebook!! When they're done. I heard that they're singing another one. Shit. Please not the one that I might know you guys will sing it right now. Turning pages were heard. "Here it is. Let's sing it." I heard Jack said
I fell in love with a beautiful girl,
And she still takes my breath away.
I fell in love in the morning sun,
While the hours slipped away.Sometimes when I hear your name,
A smile creeps on my face.
And for reasons I can't explain,
It's never out of place.Cause I love you
More than you think I do
And I love you
Now you don't want me to
Cause I love you
More than you think I do
And I love you
Now you don't want me toI knew it. It's the song that I've been completing the lyrics. They stop after the chorus. Ha! Told you so. "This song isn't finished yet, Jack." Daniel say. Silence came then Corbyn speaks. "I think I found the source for the second verse!" Corbyn happily say. Wait, what?
You ran your finger down my back,
And you spelled out your name.
While we lay there on the soft warm ground,
For a week and thirteen days.Crap. Who wrote that though? "Patrisha's good at writing songs, I knew this lyrics are good." I hear Corbyn. Patrisha wrote songs? "Let me sing the other part." Jack say as I wait to hear them sing and the guitar play but they didn't. "What's wrong, Jack?" Daniel ask. "Is it just me, or they both got to write the same lyrics?" Jack say.
And I know that it sounds so wrong
And you've heard all this before
I didn't come back and I wasn't there
I won't trouble you no more."They weren't even together after ten years, Jack. Maybe it's just a coincidence that they wrote the same lyrics." Corbyn say. Her lyrics matches to mine, I don't know what to say. She could be a freaking songwriter or singer right now if she wasn't in this situation. "That's the song?" I hear Jack. "What would you expect? Already finished? You can choose anything here. I know some of it are finished though." Corbyn said.
After I hear pages turn, I hear the guitar got back to where it was. So, I hid inside my room. I was supposed to be outside by now, but no. I'm here with these three boys who wonders off with my songbook and sing it! "Zach, we know you're there." I hear Corbyn, who's outside of my room. "Dammit." I mumbled. I left my room and the three greeted me with their worried faces. What's going on?
"Here's your notebook. I just thought it would be a great idea to sing it alone, when these two came along!" Corbyn said as he give me my notebook. "Guys, I know you already got to read my songbook but don't you know these songs has meanings?" I say. "Like, how you wrote a song for Patrisha?" Corbyn and Jack look at Daniel as he put his hands on his mouth. I sigh. "So you all know the lyrics to each others songs. Huh, no wonder I tried to get my best to clearly hear you guys outside the room." I cross my arms.
"You guys never thought of me being angry?" I added. They just look at each other and back to me. "Corbyn did." Daniel answered. "A holes." I laugh and left. I went down to see Jonah and Patrisha laughing at something. We used to be like that. I frown as I went outside at the backyard. All I ever did the past few days was singing and writing songs. I really want to talk to Patrisha, but I can't. Half of me is still mad at her.
I love her, that's the final. I'm going to makes things right again, I don't care if she's going punch me. I just need her. "Dang, boy. You really are thinking deep." I turn around to see Jonah. "No wonder you have Pat when you really have Tate." "Hey, Tate is a pretty sweet gal. And I don't blame her for breaking up with me. We just lost our touch that's all. Unlike you." He said
"Hey!" "What? You just shut her out! Explain it then." Did I? I mean, I didn't even know that I shut her out like that. "Do you even love her to shut her out of your life like that, Zach?" Am I really shutting her out of my life completely? No, right? "Jonah, I know what I did. It wasn't my fault. She's the one who left first-" "No, Zach. She left 'cause she thought that her 'mother' Stefani will bring her back after the fake news about her being chosen to be one of the characters in a Disney show. She thought she will come back and see you again. She thought of everything, Zach." Jonah angrily said
I caused her so much pain and she did the same, but it wasn't her fault. "What about me, Jonah?! She left me. With no face to face conversation, no note, no call, no e-mail and not even a goodbye." I'm starting to cry, but I'm holding these tears. I'm not gonna cry here. "Let's look at the facts, she left and then after almost ten years, she came back to your life without a notice that she's the one you're looking for and now blaming her as she blames herself."
Why would she blame herself? "You didn't found her, Zach. Destiny make it happen. So, don't waste the only chance. Make it up to her." He added and left. When he did, I start to turn the pages of my songbook and sing the chorus of my song.
Then I think of the start,
And it echoes a spark,
And I remember the magic electricity. Then I look in my heart,
There's a light in the dark,
Still a flicker of hope that you first gave to me.That I wanna keep,
Please don't leave,
Please don't leave.I love you, Patrisha Mae Styles.
