Summer fun at the beach HikaruxHaruhi

Chapter two that dream...

"Haruhi. Come over here," I hear a voice say. I walk towards where the voice was coming from...

Orange hair means Hikaru.

I run into his embrace,  "Hikaru,"

I mumble to him.

"Hmm?"

"I think I-"

"Haruhi! I found you!" Another voice says.

I jump out of Hikaru's arms in fright, "W-who's there?" I stutter.  "Only little old me, " the voice replys stepping out of the shadows to reveal Tamaki. He grabs my hand and pulls me towards him.  he flashes his teeth in a wide smile,"I need to talk to you. Why did you avoid kissing me?"

"I-I-I," Nothing but the letter I comes out of my mouth. 

"Do you not like me?" he asks hurt, "No you don't. You love me," he pushes me up against the shadows, "Don't you?"

"I-I"

Hikaru's voice is rough and angry when he speaks,  "Leave her alone." he smirks in response,  "Make me."

Hikaru cracks his knuckles sighing, "Alright but you asked for it,"  Tamaki swings a punch at Hikaru who smirks in  response.  "This is gonna be fun, " he whispers to himself.  Within seconds of saying that Hikaru's fist connects with Tamaki's jaw knocking him to the floor. As Hikaru is about to continue I wrap my arms around him to stop him from hurting Tamaki any further. "Stop," I whisper,  "Please, "

He rakes a hand through his hair in frustration.  Tamaki stares at me with an unreadable expression before finally asking the one question I don't want to answer,  "Who do you love?" his tone is soft almost as if he is afraid of the response he is going to get. I detach myself from Hikaru and make my way to Tamaki to help him up.  I grab his hand and pull him up off the floor, "I don't know I love you both but," I'm going to be honest with them.

"Tamaki," I face him as I speak to him, "You make me feel safe and at home I may love you but-"

There was always a but.

"You don't love me the way you love him, "  He interrupts, "Be good to her," he mutters before disappearing into the shadows.

"Hikaru," I place his hands in mine, "When I'm around you I feel my heart beat increase and I get butterflies in my stomach but I also feel safe with you I feel protected and most of all I feel happy. I guess what I'm trying to say is I love you, "

My eyes flashed  open and I realised it  was just a dream.  Well now I knew for sure who I truly loved and I intended to tell him today!

A knock was heard from the door. "Come in," I said in a sing song voice. "Uh hi Haruhi I've come to-"

Hikaru.  He's here.
