The sky was dark as the loud sound of the thunder rang through the sky. The wind blew and lightning struck. Raindrops started falling and soon, it turned into pouring rain.

You were in your bed, trying to get some sleep. But the loud noises of the thunderstorm outside kept you awake. The dark corners of your room made the scene even scarier. The night was supposed to be filled with millions of shining stars but now, there was a thunderstorm.

You hugged the blanket close to you as you told yourself to go back to sleep.

Bam!

A bolt of lightning struck and you let out a muffled scream. Suddenly, the door opened and you let out a sigh of relief.

"Hey princess."

"Tommy."

Tom chuckled. He knew you were scared of the thunderstorm. Tom had some urgent matters to attend to so he told you to go to sleep first but who knew there was a thunderstorm coming.

He decided to tease you for a bit, standing outside the bedroom to see how you would react to the thunderstorm outside.

Tom crawled into bed with you hugging you close as you laid your head on his chest.

"You remember when we were young? And there used to be thunderstorms like this."

Bam!

Lightning struck as you let out another whimper. You clutched your blankets as tears threatened to spill from your eyes. The thunderstorm outside made you terrified and you could not sleep.

You would have gone to find mummy and daddy but you were too scared to walk down the dark corridor on your own.

The door to your bedroom creaked open and you decided to hide under the blankets. The monsters are coming, you thought. A hand reached for the blankets as you struggled to muffle a scream.

"Princess, it's me." You heard a familiar voice and immediately came up from under the blankets.

"Tommy!"

"I'm scared."

Tom gave you a smile as he got into bed with you.

"There's nothing to be afraid of. Come on let's go to sleep."

You cuddled with him as both of you soon drifted off to sleep.

"Yeah. I remember."

The sunlight shone in, light filling the dark room. You opened your eyes. The thunderstorm was gone and it was a brand new day.

You looked up at Tom who was still sleeping so you decided to slowly and quietly get out of bed. But as soon as you got up, Tom pulled you back to bed. You fell with a shriek.

"Hey! You were awake the whole time huh?"

"Maybe." Tom smiled, eyes still closed.

"Let me go. I want to eat breakfast."

"Nah. Stay in bed and cuddle a little while longer." Tom pulled you closer towards him.

"Tom!"

After 10 minutes of cuddling in bed, you finally got up and got ready. Both of you went to the dining room and started to eat.

"What are you gonna do today?" You asked.

"Nothing."

"What? I thought you have a meeting later."

"The meeting can wait. I wanna spend time with you."

"Oh come on. Don't be irresponsible."

"Sometimes I wonder if it was really a good idea to save you and bring your memories back." Tom joked.

So you stood up and left. But Tom pulled you back and you landed on his lap.

"I was joking."

"I wasn't." You stuck out your tongue at him.

Tom leaned in and both of you started kissing. Both lips moved in sync as you forgot what you were just doing.

"Ew stop it. Don't make me puke on my breakfast."

You jerked away as you heard the voice. You looked up and saw Harrison. Tom chuckled while you hid your face in embarrassment.

"What a great day to start my morning."
