"The transaction is gonna be quick and simple. Once we get what we want, we immediately leave. You can bring the men back."

"Yes, sir."

After that, the three men turned to leave. Jack walked past the men, into the office.

"You wanted to speak with me?"

"Yes."

"The other mob used to be on very good terms with my dad and I suspect that they might do something," Tom explained.

"I want you to go to Paris with us and protect Y/n."

"I will arrange another hotel for you to stay at that will have the perfect view of everything. You are to watch over her at all times when we are out and if anything happens to me, you are to protect her and get her out of danger. Understand?"

"Yes."

"May I ask you a question?" Jack asked out of the blue.

"Yes?"

"Why don't you get higher security to guard Dominic?"

Tom frowned. He wasn't expecting that question but he answered anyway.

"Maybe I was just hoping that deep down he would have that little bit of love for us."

Your hands fumbled with the ends of your shirt as you excitedly thought about the things you would do in Paris.

You were currently in the car, on the way to the airport. You tried containing your excitement by looking down and keeping quiet but all your actions were noticeable as soon as Tom looked at you.

"Ouch!" You shrieked as you felt Tom flick your head.

"What was that for?" You glared at him.

"To get you out of your trance." Tom stuck out his tongue at you.

"It's not my fault I've been trapped in a stupid old cottage for 8 years." You pouted.

Tom chuckled, pulling you closer to him. You laid your head on his chest and closed your eyes.

Before you knew it, the car came to a stop and you reached the airport.

"You wait here, I'll go check us in,"

"Do not go anywhere," Tom said, stressing on the words 'do not'.

"Okay okay."

You found a seat nearby. An old lady sat beside you. You gave her a small smile before taking a seat.

You stared off into the distance, looking at the sea of crowd walking around, happily talking and pulling their luggage along.

You turned around to look at the direction Tom walked towards. You quickly notice a man sitting a few metres behind you, dressed in black from head to toe. You caught him staring at you and when he saw that you noticed him, he quickly looked away.

You frowned, staring at him with curiosity. You were quickly snapped out of your trance by the old lady beside you.

"Is everything all right dear?" She asked, giving you a heart-warming smile.

"Y-Yes." You smiled back.

"Are you here alone? It's quite dangerous for a young lady like you to be travelling alone."

"Oh. No. I'm actually waiting for my boyfriend. He's helping us check in."

"Y/n." You heard a voice behind you. You turn around to see Tom looking at you.

"Come on let's go." He said, reaching his hand out.

You took his hand and stood up. Grabbing your bag, you turned around to say goodbye but was met with her horror-stricken face.

You looked at her weirdly before you realized that she was not looking at you. She was looking at Tom.

"Uh- B-Bye."

Tom's grip was tight, pulling you away. You caught up to him, silently walking beside him.

"Don't talk to strangers."

Your eyes lit up as you got to your seat. You quickly sat down on the big, comfortable seat. You looked out the window and saw the view outside. You were really excited to see the view from the sky.

"They have tv's on the aeroplane?!" You exclaimed a little too loudly.

A man from the opposite aisle looked at you weirdly.

"Of course." Tom laughed as he sat down beside you.

"You can watch anything you want, or you could just look out the window and listen to some music. The flight is about 1 hour 15 minutes, won't be too long."

"Hmm okay."

Suddenly, the plane jerked forward and started moving. You let out a shriek and your hands flew to clutch onto Tom's.

"Are we taking off?" You asked anxiously.

"Yeah. Just relax. It's fine." Tom smiled, holding onto your hand tightly.

You sat back closing your eyes as the plane took off.
