Chapter 2

I got home very late and my dad  was furious so I was grounded for two weeks although I explained to him that I went to Sarah's place because she will be traveling any time soon. When I got to my room I searched through my bag and took out an interesting book and started reading some minutes later my phone rang and Sarah's I.D showed up on my phone screen I picked the call up smiling when I heard her voice

Sarah: "Hello best"

Me: "Hello"

Sarah: "Have you gotten home?"

Me: "Yes"

Sarah: "okay"

Me: "Guess what"

Sarah: "What?"

Me: 'Just guess"

Sarah: "hmmmmm" Sarah thinking on the other line

Sarah: "Oh! you've finally see your prince charming"

Me: "NO"

Sarah: "Then what?"

Me: "I'm grounded for two weeks"

Sarah: "What! Are you kidding me?"

Me: "No, my dad was angry at me for coming home late so I am grounded"

Sarah: "Oh sorry, am so sorry best I am the reason you are grounded, because you followed me home to make my hair"

Me: "Don't worry best am okay so where are you now?" picking up the book I was reading

Sarah: "Am on my way to Tom's house, his parent are not around so this is the only chance I got"

Me: "Okay, are you sure about this best? I don't like that guy"

Sarah: "Oh don't worry about me I will be fine and you know how much I need this, I need to get rid of this virginity I don't like being a virgin and you should too"
 
I coughed touching my hair

Me: "You know I can't do it and since your mind is made up no problem best, just call me okay"

Sarah: "Okay best I will call you, hmmmmm am getting close to his house I will call you back later bye for now"

Me: "Alright best bye"  and I hang up smiling to myself, then I started reading my book not knowing when I slept off

Ruby Ruby I heard someone calling from far then someone tap me "Ruby wake up mom is calling you downstairs dinner is ready" I opened my eyes and saw my sister 'Bonnie' "Oh okay thank you" looking at my wristwatch it is already 8:10pm "when did I slept off?"I asked myself, then I remembered Sarah so i called her and her phone rang two times but she didn't pick up.

I went downstairs looking worried "Ruby is everything okay?" My mom asked me concerned I tried faking a smile "Yes mom am fine, hmmmm this food smells good can't wait to taste it" my mouth watered because of the aroma. We all sat down and ate after praying "Wow this tasta good mum" "thank you darling" my mom said giving me a smile "You are welcome mom" I said smiling also then my dad apologize to me and i accepted his apology but to my surprise am still grounded

'how am I going to get a boyfriend?' I thought to myself
There is no way I can see who love me for who I am but I just got to try. I went back to my room and try Sarah's number again it rang once before she picked up

Me: "Hello"

Sarah: "Hey best"

Me: "I called you earlier you didn't pick up your call and I got worried, hope you are good?
