Skylar Martin was a 17 year old girl, unaware of it she was about to start the best and worst part of her life. She didn't think things could go any worse after her mother killed herself. Her father was a mess after the loss of their family, and Skylar would probably be all on her own, if her older brother, Mason wasn't there to take care of her most of the time. Mason was in college, but decided to take a small break to grief with his father and sister. Mason was almost 20 and had his own apartment, he mostly pushed people away, including his family.
Skylar had a best friend called Lily, her and Skylar were complete opposites of each other, but they were friends since birth and almost always got along. People often told them they looked alike, but they never really thought about it.
They were best friends with a guy called Charlie. He was the typical guy best friend, he'd known Skylar since kindergarten, and soon the three of them were inseparable
Her life was a mess, but she never thought it'd change at her mothers funeral.
