"Exactly, so don't talk," Layla crossed her arms.
"May I ask why you haven't?"
"I barely got the hang of going to the restroom, you think I know how to clean this thing? Plus the back of my head is killing me all the time!" she turned red.
"We have to take care of that soon, along with your body that is. Same reason though, I don't know what you do," he responded.
"So what do we do then?" she sighed.
"Go home."
"Home? Like, your home? Or mine?" she stood.
"Neverland, there we could just figure this out," he stood too.
On the way there, they were mostly silent. There was nothing to speak about to them. Michael was sitting against the window and looking outside. Layla sat across from him. Her foot started tapping.
"Why do you have so much energy all the time?" she asked him, she noticed his body always wanted to move. She could barely relax.
"Always have to be prepared, I guess," he answered and turned his head to her, "Which reminds me, have you worked out at all? Ran? Anything?"
She shook her head.
"Damn," he mumbled.
He rubbed his arms, "Soreness hurts like hell."
"Yeah I don't do much exercise on my own," she replied.
Sydney popped out of the bathroom, sitting next to Layla. From the first step they've taken on this plane to go back home, Sydney has been flirting with her non stop. Of course because she didn't know Layla was in Michael's body, it was even weirder to Layla. All she could give was nervous replies.
"What were you guys talking about while I was gone?" Sydney purred.
"Nothing," Michael answered for her.
Layla took this time to observe her own body, it's not every day you get to see yourself in person. Michael turned his head and stared right back. This went on for a few minutes. Layla guessed the same things were going through his mind.
"Layla! Don't be rude!" Sydney cut off their trains of thought.
Michael rolled his eyes and turned his head back to he window.
"So, Michael, I was wondering if maybe.."
"No," Layla crossed her legs.
Sydney whined, "I didn't even ask you yet!"
"Answer is no, leave the poor man alone," Michael defended.
Sydney sat back in her seat with her arms crossed. Layla closed her eyes and fell asleep. She felt a kick on her shin and woke up to find Michael staring again.
"So that's what it looks like.." he chuckled.
She glared, "What was that for?!"
"We're here, thought it was a good time," he smiled.
She yawned and sat up, rubbing her eyes, "Where's Sydney?"
"Front of the plane, she was pretty ticked off at you."
She rubbed her temples, "God help us."
"We have to get to know each other better, very soon. Especially since we don't know how long this will last," he explained.
"How will we do that when Sydney is around?" Layla sat up more in her seat.
"Do you even know her? She's your best friend and you don't know what to do to keep her distracted?"
"Shopping spree. But it has to be with your money," she replied.
"That'll be fine."
