Part 8
----------
Jeff fucked up. He had fucked up bad. Slender had warned him to control his temper but he couldn't help it. He hated it when people said things about him behind his back or kept things from him that where about him. Paranoia, it had came about shortly after the unfortunate incident when he was younger. It was times like these where he wished he could just close his eyes and block out the world around him. His attention was drawn to the steel door as he heard the signature click of the door locks he had became a custom to.
Who came through the door wasn't you. Jeff tried to squint to get a less blurred image of who had came into the room. He had always had problems with his vision since the incident. It gradually worsened to where if he didn't apply eyedrops every two and a half hours his vision would be nothing more than shadows and blurred movement. Jeff remembered when he had first gone to EJ for his problem and EJ attempted to get Jeff to wear glasses. He had none of it, those glasses would have spoilt his beautiful face- so EJ arranged with slender to get Jeff eyedrops. He returned his mind back to the approaching figure. It was a man, Jeff could make out the broad shoulders. Closer. Short blonde hair. Closer. Green eyes. The man now stood in front of Jeff, his cold emerald eyes glazed over. Jeff could now see the man clearly, he was wearing a grey sweater with black trousers, his olive eyes framed by black glasses and a serious scowl etched on his features.
"Where's FN?" Jeff's voice was slightly muffled by the muzzle. The unknown man snickered, turned on his heel and began circling Jeff.
"Where's FN!" Jeff tried to stand but was held down by the chains.
" FN? Why do you care?"
"She's my Psychologist. I want to talk to her!" A single laugh was heard behind him.
"You are no longer in FN's care. After you viciously mauled her," Jeff received a hard kick to his back. " the warden thought it would be to risky to put you back with her and made you someone else's problem." Another kick, this one harder than the last.
"My problem to be exact." The man returned to his original place and kneeled down in front of Jeff. Jeff pulled at his restrains, wanting to punch this bastard in the face until his head was nothing but pulp. The man laughed at Jeff's failed attempts, stood and began to circle Jeff again. Jeff fought against the chains but only exhausted himself. He could hear the man to the left of him reach into his pocket and retrieve something.
"You know..." The man stood in front of Jeff and held both his hand behind him, concealing the object Jeff had heard him get.
"FN doesn't like animal testing, for more reasons than one." The man smiled down at Jeff.
"Have you seen Planet of the Apes,Jeff? FN says that's a great example of why animal testing is bad. She says that what may work on the animals may be dangerous to people. She said that even though it worked on the mans dad, it only worked for a while, then it just made his condition worse. What works for one species may not work for another." The man kneeled.
" Although FN isn't biased, she thinks there are always some good in every bad." The man leaned towards Jeff, grabbed his jaw and turned his head left- revealing his paper white skin. Jeff struggled in the mans grip but was still tired from his earlier attempts of freedom. A gasp and a strained cry escaped Jeff's lips as a sharp stab sent shock waves of pain pulsing through his body from his neck. The man laughed as he let go of Jeff and retracted the needle.
Jeff shuck slightly and coughed harshly. Blood trickled from the spaces in the muzzle. Jeff was in shock. What had this man done it him? His body was convulsing as he coughed up more blood.
"What have you done to me?" Jeff said between coughs. The man just continued to laugh, clearly amused by Jeff's suffering-suffering he had caused. Only when he seemed to compose himself did he answer Jeff.
"It's the drug they use to 'put people down' when they have the death penalty. Of course I didn't give you a lethal dose, just enough to make you suffer." Jeff laid on the cold padded floor as his body quivered. A snicker sounded above him.
"Pathetic." The man spat before turning and leaving the room, locking the door behind him.
---------------
You pulled up in the staff parking lot of Hogan Idiocy Asylum. It was midday now, the sky was clear with the exception of a few clouds. You usually wouldn't show up this late to work but the warden insisted you take a day off, however, with your stubbornness you managed to haggle him down to coming in at midday. Waking past the reception and up to your office you exchanged greetings with co-workers. That was until Laila came bounding up to you, stopping you in your tracks. Her frosted white hair flowed gently behind her.
"Laila, good afternoon."
"Afternoon miss LN." She gave a small bow. "Miss LN I have some news that you may not like." This gained your full attention.
"What?" Laila shifted, rocking on her heels.
"Well.. Er.. The warden removed Jeff from your patient rota."
"What!" You quickly turned and headed for the stairs but not before calling back to Laila. " Hold my appointments and calls until I get back." You rushed up the stairs to the 6th floor. This entire floor was the wardens office. Stoping in front of the large oak door you knocked once before hearing a quiet 'come in'.
Entering, you walked straight to the wardens desk and stood abruptly. The office consisted most of dark oak furniture, giving it an 80's school principles office vibe. The warden looked up, smiling at you before placing the papers in his hand down. The warden was in his 60's, his short grey hair was neatly combed back, he wore a brown suit with a white dress shirt and his white glasses where perched on top of his head.
"Ah, FN. What can I do for you today?"
"Sir, I would like to know the reason why you took Jeff of my rota." The warden sighed, taking the glasses of his head and wiping the lenses with his shirt.
"He was to dangerous. I mean, just look at what happen to you." He jested to your bruised neck and bandaged hands. He sighed again, stood and walked to the bookcase to the right of his desk.
"Cameron agreed that-" you stopped listening to him. Cameron. Cameron was the wardens grandson. You gritted your teeth. Cameron did this, he is the one who got Jeff of your rota.
" I couldn't have you-"
"I'm sorry sir, I miss judged your choice. I see now it was in my best interest. I'm sorry for wasting your time." You faked a smile and lightly bowed. The warden looked relived as he turned to face you.
"Ah, I'm glad." He walked up to you and enveloped you in a hug.
" and you didn't waste my time, I enjoy talking to you. You get me out of work." You laugh at his little joke, although you where anything but amused. Walking out of his office you wave him a goodbye. You then proceed to walk back down the flights of stairs. Your destination? Cameron's office.
" he's got a hell of a lot of explaining to do!"
