Mission Activated; Water Park

Part One;

                   The Outlandish Mission

It was just another day of training for the group of students. Jamie, Max, Prime, and Naomi we’re currently practicing their resistance to spells. And, to be honest, it was a lot more painful and draining than any of them could of imagined. So you can understand the relief they felt when they were called into Vanamakia’s office.

 “Ah, there you four are. I’ve come up with a new mission for you. But before we discuss details, tell me about your progress with the new training assignment.”

“Sir, it seems you are trying to kill us, sir.” Max stated firmly as if she were addressing a military officer, this sort of behavior gained her a few giggles from the other teens.

 “Kill you? How so?”

 “Dude, let’s be honest, ‘This whole ‘ resistance to magic’ thing is practically torture.” Prime added in a much more relaxed tone than Max’s previous.

 “Yeah it’s like they're ripping our brains from our heads..” Naomi complained rubbing her temples.

 “I’d hate to complain about something that is supposedly useful for our future quests.. but.. it serves more purpose in causing us pain than training our abilities.” Jamie contributed.

 “You mortals and your constant complaints! You never learn anything if you don’t apply yourselves! Down here we will accept no babying and that means you will suffer some physical damage in order to learn and that’s that!” The tall, purple demon scolded before changing the subject, “But that’s besides the point. I’ve called you in today to address a Mission—”

 “You made that pretty clear when we came in here.” Max said with slight irritation. It seemed like she was going to add more, but she allowed him to continue.

 “Yes, yes, now your mission is to go undercover—”

 “Sounds pretty boring. Can’t we just go fight some minions or something?” Prime asked, cutting Vanimakia off.

 “If you could let me speak maybe you’ll be more interested.” Vanamakia’s voice held a clear message that if they were to say one more thing he’d send them back to the supposed torture that was Magic Resistance Training.

 “Now, you will be going undercover at a WaterPark. One of my minions has informed me that there is going to be something shady happening over there. Apparently Aria has sent someone out to taint the water and.. well we don’t know what she is doing but whatever it is it’s most likely fatal to our cause.

 “So you want us to hang out at a WaterPark like children waiting for someone to cause ultimate destruction?” Naomi asked, not really taking Vanamakia seriously, “Cool! Sign us up!”

“No, you don’t understand.” Vanamakia began before,

 “I think we understand. We chill at a water park and wait for some shady guy to show up.” Said Prime.

 “And then we bash their skull in and save the day.” Max added.

 “Seems easy enough. Consider it done by 5-O’clock .” Jamie concluded.

 “If you even survive this mission I’ll be amazed.” Vanamakia grumbled, “You’re all arrogant, I don’t expect you to get this finished in less than a few days. You might be able to solve it by the time the entire pool has blown up…”
