Disconnected

"..Nenis?" Vanamakia called from the Portal disguised as a mirror.

"Yes, Brother, what is it?" The female demon questioned in a tone that gave off the 'I'm busy and do not want to deal with your little inconviences right now'

"I've lost connection to Jamie, I can't sense her anymore."

"You can't?" Nenis stopped what she was doing, she walked into the room Vanamakia was in While trying to reach Max.

"What about Maxine? Can you reach her?" Vanamakia Asked, walking past his sister and to a desk by the door.

"No, but she normally mutes me so it make sense as to why she isn't responding." Nenis turned to face her brother with a concerned expression.

"Yes that I know. But can you sense her? You know, can you track her life force?" Vanamakia questioned, digging through a drawer.

"What are you getting at? You're concerning me."

Vanamakia turned around facing Nenis, "Concern is good. Concern is what we need."

"What do you have there?" Nenis Asked following Vanamakia to the portal. He was holding a long tube of metal that, at the end, had a large clamp sort of like a crab claw.

"They call it.. a pooper scooper." Said Vanamakia as he stuck it through the glass, reaching into the abyss inside of the portal.

"Is it a weapon?" Asked Nenis eyeing the tool curiously.

"Believe so," Vanamakia said, struggling a bit as his entire left arm and shoulder was stuck inside of the portal. He pulled back with a satisfied smile, and with his arm came the scooper, and trapped by the scooper was a very confused Jamie.

"What the hell?!" She shouted as soon as she was outside eof the mirror portal.

"Welcome back," Vanamakia mumbled as he reached back into the portal, pulling Max, Naomi, and Eventually Prime.

"Nenis?" Questioned Max as she stood from the carpeted floor that she was tossed onto, "what's going on here?" Nenis only shrugged In response.

"Vanamakia." Naomi began.

"Hm?"

"Perhaps you'd like to inform us on, One, Why we are here, Two, How we got here, And Three, why you brought us back with a pooper scooper. That's disgusting" She counted on her fingers as she listed off the questions, grimacing at the last one.

"I lost connection." Vanamakia answered plainly.

"You brought us back from our mission just so we could help you with your internet? I thought Max fixed it last time we were here, which was like, what, Five hours ago." Prime had an irritated tone, they were close to finding something. He just found out that his asshole of a brother was still alive! They didn't have time for Vanamakia's antics!

"No I meant mentally. Here, Jamie think one of your stupid mortal thoughts and I'll see if I can guess what you were thinking."

"O..Kay.." Jamie responded, thinking of something before saying, "Guess."

"You're thinking 'Wow, Vanamakia is so smart, I wish I could be like him, too bad I'll always be a worthless mortal' weren't you?" Vanamakia said in his usual cocky tone.

"No..." Said Jamie before she explained her actual thoughts, "I was just wondering if you've used that Pooper Scooper before.."

"Yes. Many times." The purple demon answered, causing the teens to gag.

"You said you lost connection to us, right?" Started Max, she had an idea. What if the multitude of Shadow Demons affected the signals. Maybe Vanamakia and Nenis had a way to stop Prime's brother from whatever he was planning.

"Correct.." Said Nenis.

"We had a bit of a.. family reuinion back at the Water Park.." Max continued.

"We do not care about your physchotic Family members, Maxine." Said Vanamakia in a bored tone.

"That's not what I'm talking about. And frankly, Vanamakia, that was extremely rude."

"Yeah, like no one cares about your power, your awards, your victories, and especially not your life story, Vanamakia." Retorted Naomi, who got a High five from Nenis.

"It was my brother." Said Prime.

"Your brother?" Vanamakia And Nenis Asked in unison.

"Yes.. my brother.."

"He's a shadow demon, just like Prime." Jamie chimed in.

"And while we were inspecting something.. there was an entire ring of them." Max Contributed.

"An entire ring?" Asked Nenis.

"Yes an entire ring." Another voice added. "An entire ring, and they're all at least a tier 7"

"How do you know, Tamriel." Asked Vanamakia

"Because.. I created them"
