Mission Activated; Water Park

Part Five;

                             Obvious trap

 Prime reluctantly went into full shadow form. He traveled behind oblivious people, until he finally made it to the water. The Shadowed teen spotted a few dark spots underneath the water, that would be his way underneath the Kiddy pool.. the only problem was the fact that he’d be underneath the water.

 At least in this form he didn’t need to breath.. but the water would still be over him. Memories of his escape flooded his mind as he neared the flat, shallow water. He moved to a shadow that came from a few toddlers, mentally screaming the entire that he was under the water. Prime forced himself underneath the concrete, and his shadowy form fell quite always into a dark pit that was hidden underneath the park.

 “There..” he mumbled as he shifted back into a solid form, “ the hard part is over..” Prime walked a few paces into the hollowed out area.. where was the glow coming from?

 “Huh.. that’s strange..” he thought out loud as he noticed the strange purple light came from no source and was simply just sitting at the top of the room. “I wonder if it’s some sort of chemical reaction..” Prime cringed, first the water.. then a possible experiment.. what’s next? Testing tubes? Will he find a frozen person in a glass chamber while he’s down here?

 This was the first time in a while that Prime wished he didn’t go on a mission. To be fully honest he would much rather endure brain torture than this.

 “Find a door” he remembered Jamie saying, “There has to be someway in”

  This would be easy.. Prime thought As he scanned the area, if it wasn’t dark as hell here! And then it hit him.

 “Oh wait,” He said, “I’m an idiot!” Prime morphed into his half form, to where he could still walk as if he were still in his human form but he could also see in the dark like in his shadow form.

 “There we go!” Prime exclaimed as he spotted a long staircase near the opposite wall. He ran up the stairs, finally reaching a heavy metal door. He unlocked the knob, pulled it open and nearly ran headfirst into Jamie.

 “Thanks for unlocking it, took you long enough.” Naomi complained as she began to walk past prime and down the stairs.

 “What- how.. how did you guys find the door so quickly?” Asked Prime, bewildered. From his memory this door was on the opposite side of the water park.

 “Vanamakia.” Jamie replied, walking past him to follow Naomi.

 “But.. how? He’s still in the void, isn’t he? Oh god he’s not here, right? Man if he saw how badly we were doing he’d be so disappointed.”

 “He’s in her mind, Prime, d’you forget?” Max reminded as she too walked down the stair way.

 “Oh.” Said Prime. He hurried to catch up to the three, “There isn’t anything down here though! I’ve checked and saw nothing!”

 “Are you sure about that?” Naomi questioned as she felt around for a light. A subtle click sounded off and one by one, a few lights lit up. And as if they just appeared out of thin air, which Prime swears is what happened, two giant machines were hooked up to the bottom of where the Kiddy Pool was and it was very evident that they were the cause of the purple light.

 “I swear there was nothing here. I even fell through that exact spot! I was standing right. There.”  Prime informed completely confused.

 “I think he might be telling the truth..” said Jamie.

 “How so?” Max asked looking for any clues Jamie might have spotted.

 “Because when Prime was going through the pool.. he was the only one that was in this room..” Jamie continued.

 “Yes.. what about it?” Asked Naomi as she became a bit skeptical of her surroundings.

 “Jamie, are you suggesting that there must be someone else down here?” Questioned Max as she began to pick up Jamie’s train of thought.

 “I’m not suggesting it..” Jamie turned to the others, “I know it as truth. If I am wrong.. why is there a humanoid shadow by the left wall? Why hasn’t it been drowned out by the lights?”

 “What are you getting at?” Naomi skimmed the left walls for the shadow.

 “There’s… a hunter here..” mumbled Prime, his eyes locked on the humanoid shadow.

 “A hunter? Here? But they were all killed!” Shouted Max, not wanting to believe that they were standing in a room with one of those blood thirsty killers.

 “If they were all killed.. who’s that?” Jamie asked as the shadow began to move from the wall, taking on a more solid form. As soon as the creature became more human like, several more shadows appeared, copying the one before them and quickly the group of teens were surrounded by a circle of powerful enemies.
