"Bye Javi." Gabe hugged his uncle for the last time. Clementine watched from a little ways behind him.
"You two be careful out there." Kate sniffed. It was clear she was on the verge of tears. Gabe nodded.
"We will." With one final hug, Gabe walked over to Clementine.
"Ready?" She asked. They waved to Kate and Javi, who returned the gesture. Clem turned to Gabe. "You realize that we may never see them again, right? Are you sure you want to do this?" She stared intently at him, both wanting him by her side, and by his family's.
Gabe nodded. "I'm sure."
With that, they began their journey. Their journey into the unknown. The beginning of a new life, where they would find AJ and be happy.
And that, is where the story begins..
