Marshall's POV

"I don't love you anymore, Marshall! I love Jay."

Please tell me that Bey is joking. We just made up a few hours ago. How can she tell me this after all we've been through?

"W-what? Please tell me you're kidding. Is it because of the fight we had earlier? Because if so, I already apologized but, I'll apologize again. I'm sorry. Please, please don't leave me."

"Don't you get it Marshall? We won't work out. I think it's best me and the kids are going to go back to living with Jay. He's their real father. Thanks for everything, but I just can't do us anymore. We are fighting most of the time and I just can't do it anymore. Today was our last fight, for good, because I'm leaving along with the kids."

"Please baby, I'll do anything. Just please don't leave me. I love you and the kids. I love you guys. I thought we would work out...guess not."

She then leaves out the door. Everything we've been through together...gone. The love of my life...gone.

"Marshall, Marshall, MARSHALL!"

I wake up with sweat rolling down my forehead. Thank god, it was just a dream. No, dreams are supposed to make you happy not sad, it was a nightmare.

I look to my side to see Bey looking at me with questioning eyes. She then speaks up.

"Finally, I've been trying to wake you up for some time now. You're a heavy sleeper. Seemed like you were having a bad dream. I was worr—"

Before she can finish her sentence, I tackle her into a hug and start pecking her lips, repeatedly. This makes her laugh. Man, I love her laugh.

"Sorry for waking you up baby. I had a nightmare, it was really bad. I dreamt that you and the kids left me to go back to Jay. It was horrible. Thank god, it was just a nightmare."

"Baby boy, that will never happen, ever. The kids and I are happy here and we wouldn't trade it for anything. We're here to stay, for as long as you want us here."

"I love you, so much."

"I love you, too."

Then it hits me. How did I end up in bed? The last thing I remember is watching Titanic with Bey in the home theater.

"Hey babe, how did I end up in bed? Weren't we in the home theater?"

"Yea, we were. But sometime during the middle of the movie, you told me you were tired. So, I told you to go take a nap and you did. When the kids came home, we were going to make some pasta, so I came to wake you up, but you wouldn't budge. I just left you to sleep, because I knew you needed it. So, the kids, your daughters, and I ate some pasta and then your daughters helped me put the kids to bed. They stayed for a while, we chatted and then they left at about 9:30. Now we're here."

I look at the time and see that it's 3 in the morning.

"Sorry I wasn't there baby. I'm just really tired."

"It's okay baby boy. I understand."

"Let's go back to sleep?"

"Definitely."

I'm glad my dream (more like nightmare) wasn't real. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if it was real.
