You wake up and for some reason you feel an after shock, like you've had a dream that shook your core. You start to remember bits and pieces of the nightmare you've just had and as soon as you remember the whole thing tears start streaming down your face. This awoke your boyfriend Ethan.
" What's wrong? " he said trying to unwrap himself out of the blanket.
" Just a nightmare. " You responded still looking the opposite direction of Ethan.
" You want to talk about it? "
There was a awkward pause. But you still had enough energy to talk about it.
" It would help me feel a bit better. " You said finally turning around
" well it must be bad because,you never cry, or rarely. " He said getting up as wiping your tears
" I had a dream, that I walked in on you cheating on me. I just grabbed a bag and started packing my things, you tried to beg me to stay but I was ignoring you, you kept bugging me and I finally turned around and said,
' how could you do this, I loved you ' and when I turned around I saw the girls face, she was startled and she looked almost happy that I walked in on you two. I zipped my bag and ran to my car and as soon as I got in I started crying. " You paused and took a deep breath
" Was that all? " He asked clearly his face was flushed and he seemed sad to listen to all of those words come out of your mouth
" yeah. It seemed so stupid yet... So real " you said holding his hand
" y/n you know I would never cheat on you. I love you and I could never find a girl as attractive as you. " he said rubbing your cheek
" I love you too. Honestly I don't even know how I dreamt about that. I just have random thought come in and out my brain through the day but that one stuck with me for a whole week or two. " You said running your other hand through your hair
" y/n, get rid of all those nasty thoughts, I would never do that. Let's just forget this, But if you ever have a dream like this, ever again, I'll be right here. Next to you. "
" Thanks Ethan, you really know how to make me feel better " Your tears are all dry
" Don't mention it y/n. " He said kissing your cheek.
