As you got home from the gym you stumbled into the kitchen where your boyfriend, Grayson, was cooking a meal for the both of you. When he turns the stove off he turned around and spots you in the corner.
"Hey babe" He said placing a spoon he held in the counter. He started to walk closer to you and stopped righr infront of you. You reach your arms up, just enough to touch his shoulders. Grayson placed his hands on your waist and kissed the top of your head.
"You up to go swimming?" He asked lokking down at you. You just nodded, not making a single noise.
*one hour later*
You stood outside, staring at my reflection in the water and just as I was going to turn around a hand touched my shoulder. I almost stumbled back but the arms went around my back and caught me when my heel touched the edge of the pool.
" You alright? " Grayson asked placing you further from the pool, he looked you up and down.
" Why are you wearing a jacket its really hot out here. " He asked
" I-I just felt cold " You responded trying to fake a shiver.
" Oh come on " He said tugging on your jacket. You shook your head and held both of his hands.
"Its so hot out here, just come swim with me and E" he said while he wrapped his arms around your waist. You shook your head again and you notice a tear rolling down your cheek and quickly wipe it away.
"Was that a tear? Is something wrong? Babe you need to tell me if you have a problem with something." He said gently hugging you. You just burst into tears and collapse in his arms.
"I'm just not as good as other girls, U don't live up to the standards" you say whule grayson picks you up and places you down on a seat trying to wipe away the tears that was streaming out of your eyes. You struggled to say any words through your crys but managed to get a few words out :
"Grayson- I - love you- but-Im not good enough for you." you whimpered just trying to get those few words out of your mouth. He stared rifht in your eyes, his eyes glowing from the rays of the sun. He stayed there until you calmed down.
"y/n I love you too, and honestly what you don't love about yourself is what I love. Your imperfections are what makes you perfect. You dont have to be like 'other girls' you just have to be yourself." He said sliding his hand on your lap. You gave him a weak smile.
"t-thanks Gray." aboth of you were quiet for awhile.
"So will you just swim with me and e?" he asked smiling this time. You nodded and got up.
