Chapter 1: Pilot

I stood there as I watched the love of my life being held at stake point and was threatened for his life while he was trying to hold up on the edge of the cliff. How did my life turned from being a simple teenager in high school to this madness.

"Don't do this Rachel!!" I shouted at the insane girl that stood in front of me, she turned to look at me with her eyes filled with a great sense of grief, she only half smiled I knew it was fake because the smile never did once reached her eyes. I took a cautious step towards her and she eyed me carefully .

" You don't need to do this" I said to her in a more calmer voice. I saw that she had let down her guard a little. " I know what he did was wrong bu-t" she cut me off and said in her slight English like accent "Easy for you to say, you weren't the one who had to put up with all his nonsense" she paused for awhile and started talking again "I waited too long for him to finally propose and when he did you just appeared out of nowhere from where exactly?".

The hostility in her voice made me cringe a little but I still kept my composure. "I am from The United States Of America and the 21st century thank you very much". She mimicked an evil laugh "Oh so to get out of trouble you just claimed to be from the 21st century"she mocked with fake amusement in her voice. Then she asked "How did you even get from what you claim to be 2019 to 1762?, please do explain".

Two Months ago in Beverly Hills California ,U.S.A

It all started on July 16,2019 it was summer break and we were bored so my friends and I had an idea let's go snooping in her parents house." So where are the spear keys?" Avril one of my best friends asked." My parents keep them under the pot at all times" Katherine said. She took out the key and opened the front door and all of us walked through including her  big brother Jace .

The reason we chose their house was because her parents and fore parents are witches. To me I said her house because I was drawn to the idea, her family history intrigued me greatly. We splitter in groups of two one group to the basement the other to the attic .

I was the one who went with Jace to the attic and I also could get to look at him more. Okay so now my secret was blown I have been crushing on my best friends brother in like forever but our friendship rules say no crushing on siblings of each other.

We searched the attic until I stumbled upon a book that had a leather like cover with writings that looked to be mixed with red and gold. I took it up and it was a latín word. I called Jace and told him about the book and we went to find the others. Once downstairs we all sat in the living room eagerly waiting to see what this little discovery was all about .

Kathy flipped the pages over and what came next intrigued me so much I started jigging in my chair. TIME TRAVEL SPELL

We read the requirements for this spell and it said that it must be night to be performed or else something would dramatically happen. It had a few requirements that any one could meet up to and we decided to try it out tonight.

Two hours later
I was waiting impatiently for this beautiful sunset to disappear but I had no luck .Finally after a few tries it was completely dark we went outside in their backyard and the four of us sat in a circle. Kathy drew a circle with her hands and then a pentagram star. Then we all held hands. "Calm yourselves and rid your minds of all worries"Jace instructed and I tried to follow but somehow I feel that there is something missing from our little experiment.

Most of us were calm but me then that's when we started chanting the words luckily they weren't Latín.

"A TRAVEL THROUGH TIME IS JUST AS SHORT TAKE US THERE TO THE PLACES BEFORE" after we all said that nothing happened we all looked at each other and out of nowhere a light appeared in front of us. I got up and walked to the light I didn't know what I was doing it felt like someone or something was controlling me.

Right as I was about to walk in the orb or portal I heard my friends calling me back but I just couldn't stop myself. And that's when I made the biggest mistake of my life I walked through the portal.
