Next Day
As I get ready for school I think back to yesterday. He obviously had a girlfriend, or some kind of friend. So why was he talking to me? I had just bumped into him, why did he spark a conversation? Whatever, he was just being friendly.
*Beep Beep*
I look to see Mandy's car outside, waiting to take us to school.
"Shit" I thought. I quickly put some eyeliner and concealer on, and ran outside, and went in her car.
"What took you so long I was waiting here for a solid minute?" she jokingly says.
"Sorry man I just lost track of time," I say to her, not giving the real reason.
We're in the car for ten minutes before we arrive at the amazing school known as Pascack Plains. We get out to meet the rest of our friends, before the bell rings and we're forced to go inside and be tortured for seven hours.
I get to my Biology class, also known as my favorite class, and sit down in my usual assigned seat. Once everyone's sat down and the teacher, Ms. Vado arrives, she begins teaching. Around ten minutes into the lesson of DNA and RNA, the door opens. Ms. Vado notices.
"Hi, who are you?" she politely asks.
"Isaac. I'm the new student?" he says casually.
Wait.
"Okay Isaac well you can go sit next to that empty seat by Carter," my teacher says.
I hear the shuffling of feet and then the seat next to me becomes occupied by none other than Isaac.
"Fancy seeing you here," he smirks at me.
"If you say so," I mumble.
Ms. Vado continues teaching, but I'm barely paying attention. Isaac continuously kicks my foot and doodles random things onto my notebook. So, I learned nothing in that period.
When we're all walking out of the classroom, the head bitch of everything, Faith Smiths, latches onto him in the hallway.
"Hey baby! Did you miss me?" she says annoyingly, but she thinks cutely.
"Uh, yeah," he mumbles.
However, his head turns around and his eyes lock with mine, with some sort of longing in them.
