The shouts got louder as more men with guns came. They threatened to fire at me and him... though we were already in the ship... now what?
Riot gentally set me down and rushed to the controls- mumbling a few curse words as he did so. He than began pressing buttons as the gun shots started.
Sweat rolled down my S/c skin as the shots put me on edge. What if one got through the ship and damaged something... what if one got through and hit me?!? Or what if one just damaged the ship so badly it wouldnt ztart, it wouldnt fly, it wouldnt be ablr to take us off earth????
