Over the past two years I've changed a lot. I left odd leggings behind for plain black ones, I made the bestest friends I could ever ask for (Christina and Faith), I liked a lot of guys and none of them returned my feelings. I started wearing make up and straightening my hair, a drastic difference from my curly crazy hair and red face that look as if a five year old had just discovered the red crayon at the bottom of the box. I finally thought I looked good. It was the third day of my first year of high school and I was scared yet excited to be back at school. With my heart beating 100mph I pause Harry styles latest album and unplug my headphones. Folding my headphones around my hand I glance around and see the faces of the people I ride the bus with, their faces show disappointment to be back at school after a long summer of sleeping in and relaxing. Reaching the end of my cord I open my lunch bag and shove the neatly wrapped head phones into the abyss I call a lunch bag. Pulling the straps of my book bag over my shoulders and grabbing the handle of my lunch bag I stand up and walk down the isle to the door of the bus and step down the stairs, careful to not fall and cause a scene. I pull open the door to the orange cinder block school building and walk through the lobby and straight into the cafeteria. Locating my best friend faith I make my way to the table. I had curled my hair with a different curler that morning and Faith and I were talking about how it looked. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a familiar guy walk past and in front of our table and behind his. I look to my friend faith and continue talking deciding not to look towards him but I very well could still see his reaction in my peripheral. He looked down at me and froze with shock his eyes were saucers and his mouth dropped open. From my vision I could see that he had gotten his dirty blonde hair cut short and I'll admit he has always been a good sight to see. Snapping out of it he turned and sat down with his friends glancing over once or twice. Looking towards my friend she looked shocked and amused. "Did you see that?!" She laughed. Nodding I laughed also and we talked about wah that happened until our best friend Christina showed up. I knew this year was going to be an interesting one.
