I woke to the sound of David's voice.
"You're up hunny!" he said smiling at me with that smile that made me fall in love with him again.
"I need to talk to you, please." I said
"Sure what about? he asked.
"I don't think our relationship is what I want right now, with all of the pain sorry."
He didn't say anything and he just walked out.
That was the last time I seem him that week.
Ethan walked into the room and held my hand. "Thanks for doing that." he said
"It was nothing, I've broken a lot of boys hearts before."
He laughed and sat by the bed side.
"Maddie your mom wants me home today and me and her will be back in the morning, okay?" he said
"Fine dad." and just like that he walked out.
"How are you feeling?" Ethan asked me.
"Better." I said and I giggled.
"That's good." he said and looked me in the eyes. He had beautiful bright blue eyes and rough blonde hair.
I ran my fingers through his hair and smiled.
"How much longer do you think I'll be in here?" I asked.
"A week." a nurse said walking by.
"Really?" I asked her.
"Yeah maybe even sooner." she told me.
"Thanks." I said and she walked away.
"That's great babe!" Ethan said to me when he reappeared.
"Yeah I can't wait to get out of here." I said.
"Same." he answered right before he sat at the foot of my bed.
"Miss.Crawford we are going to take you to the X-ray room right now." a nurse said to me.
Two doctors came in and pushed my bed away with Ethan still sitting at the bottom.
I can't believe they didn't see him.
When I finished the X-ray the doctors called my parents and said everything had gone perfectly and I could go home.
From what had happened I suffered from a broken neck broken ankle, and dislocated shoulder.
So the doctors put a neck brace on. operated my shoulder. and put on a walking cast.
My parents got to the hospital and were finally taking us home.
Yes Ethan was coming with us.
