Back inside the safe house I blinked in there darkness. I could feel a cold rag on my shoulder. "Riddick." I mumbled. "Not! But its nice to find you fancy him." Macy teased. "I.don't..I didn't." I mumbled. "He's in the corner." She smirked. "You're not mad at me?" I asked. She shook her head. "He wouldn't have agreed with you." She admitted and re-wrapped my arm. "The big guy wants a word." She helped me up and playful nudged me in his direction. "Riddick." I started. His metallic eyes shifted to me. "I think you like saying my name." He teased. "You wanted to speak with me?" I blushed. He nodded. "Why would the two of us be considered close?" He questioned. I bit my lip and inhaled. "You don't want to know." I pushed my brown hair away from my shoulder and glance up at him sadly. "I think I do." He barked.

I placed my hand on his chest right over his heart. "Want to play our favorite game?" I questioned. He froze, paralyzed by the familiar words. His head began to shake slowly. "NO. She's dead." He pushed my hand away. "You think I don't know that? She was my 'sister' after all." I shot. His eyes snapped in my directions. His eyes were searching my face for truth. "Kyra." He whispered and place his hand on my cheek. "I should have seen it, You look so much like her but your eyes.." He trailed off. "She wanted to be just like you." I told him. He nodded. "She was an incredible woman." He admitted.

The was a ting in my chest, jealousy. My whole life my big sister had been the strong one, the pretty one and the one that got away from the orphanage. While I suffered in silence as the men in my life used and abused me until I was sixteen when Kyra returned and killed them all but it didn't matter to me. She had left me there. If she would have stayed she could have protected me. I blamed everything on her. At night my sister would lay beside me in out old tattered bed and tell me stories of the infamous Riddick.

I pulled myself away from Riddick and stalked towards a back room. "Ashlynn." He call after me. I ignored him and continued down the dim lit hallway. In the back room i slid down the wall behind a wooden crate. I hushed my sobs the best I could manage. "Where are you, Ashlynn?"He asked. I didn't answer."I can smell your tears." He told me and walked towards the box. "Why are you crying?'He questioned. "Because, You'll always see her in me." I whimpered. He bent down beside me. "You look very much like your sister." He started. I ripped away from him. "Stop being childish Ashlynn." He scolded. I glared at him seething with rage. "Get away from me you heartless brute." I screamed. Riddick wasn't intimidated by my outburst instead he placed a hand on my face. "You're very beautiful." He told me. "But not like her, She's always going to be better than me." I frowned and rested my head on his arm. "Kyra was a good woman, I shed tears for her long ago but you have to stop comparing yourself to her. " Riddick's dry lips pressed down on mine. I was startled by how gentle he was but still firm in a sexy way.

I opened my eyes and stared back at myself in his goggles. The pale flickering candles obviously bothering his eyes. "We should get back to the group. We need to be going to the ship. Anna has everything she needs to fix the reactor core." Riddick pulled me to my feet. Standing inches apart I rested my hands on his chest. Riddick raised and eyebrow, waiting for my next move but I was too frightened to continue so I stepped backwards. Riddick's large hand grasped mine and led me back into the main room. "You guys ready?" Nick asked. He was cradling his head, a large purple bruise was spreading across his swollen face. We nodded and headed out for one last run.

Riddick stopped at the door. "Don't move." He warned. Nick sighed. "There's nothing out there." He shot.Riddick raised his goggles and looked around. "Don't move." He repeated. Nick ignored the warning and stepped outside. He threw his hands in the arm. "See told you." He smirked. Out of no where a Sheath brutes sword plunged into Nicks back. Macy cried out. Dropping to her knees. I pulled her to her feet and followed Riddick across the dark desert. Anna and I were trying to shoot and take care of Macy. We were falling behind, Riddick wasn't slowing down. "Riddick. Slow down." I called to him. "Let her go." He stated over his shoulder and continued to run towards the ship his Ulaks in hand.
