Chapter 7

Dan yawned quietly and opened his eyes. He was in Phil's living room. He felt a warmth behind him. He looked over and saw Phil's sleeping face behind him. Phil was laying on the couch and Dan was laying in front of him, also on the couch. Phil's head was resting on his shoulder and he had his arms wrapped around Dan.

Dan placed a kiss on Phil's cheek and went back to sleep.

"Aw, they're so cute!" someone whispered. Someone else was laughing softly. Dan stretched and let out a yawn. He heard two pairs of feet tiptoeing away. He blinked his eyes a couple of times. He felt Phil behind him, arms still wrapped protectively around his torso. Dan brushed his hand gently over Phil's cheek. "Phil." he whispered. Phil's eyes slowly fluttered open and he smiled instantly once he saw Dan. What if Phil really does like him?

Dan and Phil were eating pancakes in the kitchen, and Sarah was giggling about something. "What's so funny, mum?" Phil asked, annoyed. She smiled guiltily. "Nothing!" She said and sipped her tea. Dan looked up and saw that Phil's hair was sticking up and he looked really cute and funny.

Phil caught Dan staring and Dan laughed too. Phil frowned. "Phil, I'll fix it!" he said and put down his forks and knife. He reached up and patted down all the hair, the silky black hair. Phil sighed and looked content. Dan smiled. He was so damn cute.

After breakfast, Phil's mum, Sarah, went to a bridal shower and said she'd be back in about 5 hours. Phil's dad, Ryan, was hanging out at his buddy's house too, so Phil and Dan had the house to themselves.

"What should we do?" Phil asked. Dan thought for a moment. "Wanna build a fort?" he asked. Phil's eyes lit up. "Yeah! Lets do it!" he shouted enthusiastically. What a cutie.

They had managed to build a fort in the living room, and they could see the tv from inside. They decided that they wanted to start a new show. They looked through the 'TV shows' category on Netflix before they decided on Prison Break.

(A/N: You guys should all go watch Prison Break, RIGHT NOW! Jk but really, watch it sometime.)

Dan realized that he was still wearing his jeans and shirt from when he fell asleep on the couch after dinner the night before. Phil was upstairs getting pyjamas on, but he didn't have his clothes here yet. He decided to go upstairs and ask for pyjamas.

He walked upstairs and opened Phil's door to look for some. But what he forgot was that Phil was changing in there. He saw Phil turn around and blush like mad. He was in his boxers and he covered himself up with his blanket.

"Phil! I'm SO sorry!" Dan said worriedly. Phil was still wearing the blanket and blushing. Dan walked downstairs. "Idiot!" he muttered to himself. "I'm such an IDIOT."

"No you're not." Phil walked downstairs in Kirby pyjama bottoms. He was holding a pair of Sonic the hedgehog ones for Dan to wear. He tossed Dan the bottoms and sat down on the couch. "Thanks Phil."

He unbuttoned his shirt and let it fall to the floor. Then he unbuttoned his jeans and pulled them off. He put on the Sonic pyjamas and looked over at the couch to see a wide-eyed Phil. Dan realized that he just changed in front of Phil and blushed. "Oops." he giggled.

Dan squeezed into the fort and realized that there wasn't room for Phil to lay beside him. Phil peeked in and saw that. "Um Phil, there isn't any r-" Phil lied down in front of Dan so his head was on Dan's chest and his body was resting in the gap between Dan's legs.

About 10 minutes into the episode, Dan started absent-mindedly playing with Phil's hair, stroking it and running his fingers through. gently smoothing out little strands as he watched. He heard Phil let out a sigh of pleasure. "You like that, Phil?" he asked and continued. Phil sighed again.

After the episode was over, Dan realized Phil was asleep. But it was the middle of the day. Oh well. Dan kissed the top of Phil's head and saw him look up immediately. Oops, he wasn't asleep. Dan blushed and Phil just smiled and blinked softly.

They got out of the fort and played Mario Kart for a bit. Then Dan just listened to music for a bit while Phil was drawing something. He ended up falling asleep and had a very peaceful sleep. Eventually he felt Phil crawl over beside him on the bed and cover them both with a blanket. Dan felt completely safe with Phil. Life couldn't get any better than this.
