You had one more day left in New York before you went back home. You spent the day with Erik and the kids exploring the city. After an hour of wondering Central Park you were walking to the car. Erik was behind with Jr. and your were with Angel when you see Dom and Julissa coming towards you holding hands with a little boy. With no way to avoid them you continued as they got closer. Erik was far behind so he didn't know what was going on. Dom approached you as you stood in front of Angel to keep him from talking to her. "Really Y/N I just wanted to say hi." Dom says looking at you. "Hey Y/N! Hi Angel!" Julissa says as she gets closer. Angel says hi to Julissa before you grab her hand and start to walk away. "Do we have a problem?" You hear Erik say causing you to stop and turn around. "Erik let's just go I don't have time for this." You say annoyed. "Y/N can we at least be civil about this?" Julissa asks. Erik walks to you and you ask him to give you a minute, he walks away and stand across from Dom and Julissa.
"Are you following us because I know this ain't a fucking coincidence! Especially since I seen you a few days ago. You say looking at Julissa. "I swear we're not following you. I was actually gonna call your mom to ask her if you were still in town so we could talk. I really want things between us to be right again." She says. "Who do you mean when you say 'us'?" You ask. "You, me, Dom and Erik. I want use to at least move past everything that happened even though it was a shitty move on both of our part." She says pointing at herself and Dom. "Is this what you want?" You say looking at Dom. "I mean yeah if it means that things between us would be okay. I'm not saying you have to." He says. "I'll talk to Erik about it, we leave tomorrow so if we're gonna do this it has to be tonight." You tell them. "Okay that's fine. We'll figure something out and let you know." Julissa says stepping up to hug you but you back away.
You leave to meet with Erik and the kids. "What the hell they want." Erik says. "They want us to sit and talk with them to settle everything that happened." You say looking at him. "What'd you tell them?" He asks. "I told them I'd ask you." You told him. "We don't have to do it I'm just telling you what they want." You continue. On the ride back to your place you and Erik didn't say anything and with the kids asleep it was extra quiet. Even though Erik didn't say anything you could tell something was bothering him. When you arrived you brought the kids in and called your mom to ask for Julissa's number. You got her number and got ready to call her but before you did you wanted to make sure Erik wanted to go through with this. After giving you the okay you call Julissa and make plans to meet up.
Later that night you and Erik go to meet Dom and Julissa at their house. You all sit at a table waiting for someone to say something when you decide to speak up. "So we're here what do you want?" You ask. "We want to settle what's going on between us. I know you probably don't want to be here but you are and I appreciate that Y/N I just want us to be friends again. Now that we've both moved on and are living our lives I want you to at least be a part of it." Julissa says sincerely. You looked at her and Dom but couldn't think of anything to say. "I'm willing to move forward with us being friends but I'll take some time for us to be close like we were if that's even possible now." You tell her. "You still probably hate our fucking guts and that's fine it's understandable but what we did is no different than what you and Erik did." You look at Erik as Dom looks at you. "What is she talking about Y/N?" Dom asks. You and Erik look at each other knowing exactly what Julissa was talking about. "Erik do you wanna tell everyone I know Y/N isn't gonna say anything." She says. Erik stayed silent as Dom looked at him. "A few years ago you two in the kitchen while Dom was away. I saw everything so you can't lie and I didn't tell you I knew because I wanted to see if you'd tell me."!Julissa says smugly. "Don't try to flip this shit on me Lisa. We slept together once compared to you and Dom's God knows how many fucking times." You yell. "At least when I realized I fucked up, which was instantly I cut all ties with him. Yet you fucked up and continued to fuck up." You continue. "For someone who cut all ties y'all seem pretty married." Dom says. "Nigga if you hadn't fucked up we wouldn't be where we are now. You're the one that fucked up and she came to me what ever happened after that is on you." Erik says sounding agitated. "Erik can we go I don't wanna do this." You say getting up. "I know I fucked up, I'll admit that but you fucked up too. After what you did to me I went back to Erik and it got us where we are now. And I wouldn't change anything in the world because I have two beautiful kids, an amazing husband and we live in the most beautiful place I've ever been. So you know what thank you Dom, thank you Julissa for fucking up my life. Because if you hadn't done that I wouldn't be living my best life right now. So thank you and fuck both of y'all." You yell turning to leave.
You and Erik go back to your place to finish packing and get some sleep. When you get there you mom opens the door. She tells you the kids are sleep and asks how did things go with Julissa and Dom. You told her what happened and the two of you talked for a bit before she left. As you walk her to the door you remind her of wanting her and your dad to love to Wakanda. She tells you that she'll talk it over with him and she leaves to go home.
When you made it back to Wakanda you didn't realize how much you missed it. As my as you loved being home it could never top Wakanda. Once you settled back into your home you shower and get the kids ready for bed. You laid in bed as Erik laid beside you. "You good baby!" He asks. "Yeah I'm fine." You tell him. You kiss Erik and lay back down falling asleep shortly.
A week later you were at home when you get a call from your mom. She told you that she talked to your dad about moving but they wanted to stay in New York. Although you were sad you were happy that they were willing to visit whenever they could. You hang up and you get a call from Shuri asking you to come to the lab. When you walk in you see your parents with Shuri. You nearly knock them over from excitedly hugging them. They tell they decided to move to Wakanda and wanted to surprise you. After a few months you noticed how much your parents were adjusting to their new life and how much they loved being in Wakanda. You were the happiest you'd been in a while and nothing could take that away from you.
