Asher's Pov

"Asher, could you do me a favor by buying me a chocolate ice cream?" Dad said from the family room. I put the book I was reading to my little sister, Agony, and carried her into my arms, and we went downstairs.

"Dad I'm still confused. How come you still have cravings when Scream was almost born?" I ask Dad after putting Agony next to him. Dad looked at me for a few minutes before shrugging and rubbing his big ass stomach.

"I don't know either Ashy. Now buy me some chocolate ice cream or you are grounded!" Dad yelled at me, and I just chuckled. It's always been this way if he had cravings—one simple thing that he always requested.

Chocolate.

Don't blame me; our family loves chocolate. Father even told me that when Dad had me, he always craved any kind of food with chocolate in or on it. You could say our family is a chocolate maniac, but we also still love brains, except for Dad, of course, because he's a human.

Ah! How rude of me! I forgot to introduce myself to the readers here. (Asher, you're breaking the fourth wall here.)

My name is Asher Brock-Klyntar, and I have my father's birth planet. Well, that's because we're living on earth now and using the last name Kylntar; we are called what few humans use to call us a Symbiote, and it makes us, the young Symbiotes, remember where the birthplace of our ancestors used to be before moving to earth.

I'm eight now, and I have one brother named Carnage and one sister named Agony. But in a few more weeks, my family is expecting a baby sister named Scream. I had jet black hair like my father's and blue steel eyes like dad's; in my family, I'm the only one who has an identical look to my parents.

After getting shooed by Dad to get him ice cream, I grabbed a few dollars from the TV cabinets and quickly grabbed my Nikes from the shoe drawers. Closing the door, I run happily as the morning breeze smashes against my face. It's autumn now, and it's kind of chilly outside, but I don't mind; I love cold weather.

I was greeting a few people that passed by; some of them were symbiotes like me, and some of them were humans. This town is pretty chill with us Symbiotes since Aunt Skirt created some kind of serum that can turn gooey Symbiotes into human beings.

"Ah! Ash, where are you heading?" Ask Mrs. Kantaine; she's a nice person for a human. She had reddish hair and bright green eyes that I have adored since I met her.

"The store aunty, Dad had another craving," I answer her. "Again?" Mrs. Kantaine asks again, and I nod. She smiled and ruffled my hair, suddenly making it much messier than it should be. "You're a good big brother, Ash; no wonder your siblings really adore you like their hero." She said that before saying our goodbyes.

I continue my walk to the store very quickly, as I walk closer to the store. I heard a loud noise coming from an alley nearby. I glanced before following the voice. Then I froze; there was a little boy, like a year younger than me, surrounded by some naughty young Symbiotes.

They yelled at him, making the boy flinch. I growled and ran toward them. I jumped the alley walls and kicked the young Symbiote's face that was standing on the right.

"The Freak! Who kicked me?" He yelled and looked at me. He glared dagger at me, and I glared back. "Oh, it's you, Ashy, What's wrong? Wanna play with this punny human too?" Ugh, can I just get away with these bullies for a day? "Fuck off, Dynamite. Stop picking fights with humans, will you?" I said, and Dynamite laughed with his friends.

"You're funny, Ashy, why not? Oh, because your mom was a human too, so you could think that we are the same." I clench my fist, getting ready to blow. Dynamite changes to his symbiote form and attacks me with a bunch of punches and kicks. All I do is dodge his attacks because he's being childish now.
