Mystery Behind Jorogumo's Secrecy

CHAPTER 4: PAST

I open my eyes, I see myself being tied up. I am sitting here at my chair with a little light above that lights me up. My surrounding is dim,  every part of this room is black. Every corner is filled with darkness.

“So, you are now awake, good for you," the being in my front walks vice versa, eyes of hers are filled with sorrow and hatred.

“Why are you doing this? Can you please stop. F*ck, Rain, you are just causing trouble in their village!" she laughs because of my litanies. She go near me and holds my chin hardly then lift it up. It caused too much pain on me.

“You don't know what happened, so better shut the hell up!” she exclaimed, full of agony blended with lavish anger.

“I know everything, Rain! I knew it! You did such because you want attention! You did that because you want to be known by someone! Rain, it isn't the only way to be what you want! Open your eyes! Rain, I do understand you. I know it is hard to have no parents around. No one upbrings you. But that's not the way to have those things you wanted—" she cuts me off.

“NO! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH! YOU DON'T KNOW MY PAST! YOU DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING!”  her loud voice conquers the room. She is being a monster I have ever known.

As she walks, she starts narrating her past.

It was a cold night, breeze causes goose bumps because of its coldness. From afar, there is a wooden house where they live. Rain, togehter with her parents are busy eating that time when someone shouted in their frontyard.

“MONSTERS! Get out!”

Her mom got shocked, she is panicking. As well as her dad. He get a bolo from their kitchen that will serves as their weapon. Her dad go out while Rain and her mother are on his back, hiding while following him. The father is trying to protect his family aa better as he can.

When he is about to open the door, he felt heat around him. He looked up and he sees their house burning up as hell. Rain and her mother start screaming, they start crying. Her dad covers them through the use of his hands and slowly pushes them at the kitchen where the backdoor is located at. After they arrived, they went out safe.

But suddenly, when they are about to escape, someone hinders their way. Her mom pushed her away and commanded to run faster into the woods, hides there and live alone. At first, she didn't follow it because she might not survive but her parents insisted. So she has no choice. So she run through the woods and hides behind the tree in the middle of the black sky above.

She looks of what is happening to her parents, she is crying. She sees her parents being tied up and burn them aggressively.

Her tears start falling as she begin to feels loath, she hated their village, she hated all the individuals living in their place.  And she promised to seek revenge on them, she will ruined their lives the same of what they did on her parents.

“I PROMISED TO SEEK REVENGE ON THOSE PEOPLE WHO WRECKS MY EVERYTHING!” she conveyed, full of hatred.

“Is that the reason why you study robotics? For revenge? Is that the reason of that wrath you possessed?! Rain, you are solely stupid!” I exclaimed after she narrated her past.

“Don't dare said those on my face!" she gets a knife and pointed it on my neck.

“Those litanies from the hotel where you saw Jorogumo, was it all part of your plan?” she nods. “No Rain, I do believe you are not the real Jorogumo because if you do, why did you said that?”

“To give you some clues, stupid! Playing with the villagers wasn't that challenging for no one ever tried knowing my real identity. So I played with you and it was fun and somewhat challenging” she does evil laugh. “And now, you already knew who's the person behind the Jorogumo's secrecy. You can now die, peacefully!” she grins and does evil laughs, again. Thinking that death was just a spit of joke.

The lamblike girl I knew became an awful wolf. I don't know who she is now. She changed, she was changed by anger.

“RAIN—”

“STOP TALKING OR ELSE I WILL KILL YOU!" she deepens her knife on my neck.

“GO ON! KILL ME!” I exclaimed. “Kill me and you will lose someone valuable in your life, again—!”

Gun shot cuts me off. And suddenly,  blood trickles on my my neat cloth.
