a/n ok ik the song has nothing to do with this chapter but I like this cover. :3 also its been like 3 weeks since first day back, im lazy and don't want to do boring fill-ins. tysm for reading!
Harumi's pov:
so far me and Nya's friends seem to be getting along pretty good, however my other friends: Megan and Tiffany, HATE Nya and (what she calls them) her loyal dogs. which is mean, but I've never been to school so maybe its just how it works? Megan and Tiffany hate everyone at school, but they like me for some reason idk.
today, after school, I was about to head back to the palace when suddenly, some lady with dark short hair, a black jumpsuit, and a eye mask was inside this HUGE mechanical robot, ironically enough was robbing a bank. I started to panic, because the ninja haven't shown up yet, but I remember that I can throw a kick or two to keep that lady busy. as I grab a ninja costume from my bag (I was going to pretend to be a ninja later XP) I changed quickly and came back out, still no ninja. I start to climb one of the limbs of the mech, I hum to myself, mainly because I was scared and needed to think clearly, but also it probably looks funny. finally I see the water ninja zip in from over the school!
she looks at me funny but again I look like someone hanging on for dear life even though I'm close to the cockpit. I finally get up to the glass and I don't know how to break glass...
the water ninja could tell I was trying to help so she blasts water onto the glass, breaking it into a million pieces! so cool! I can see the green ninja and every other ninja coming in the distance. as I grab the lady, she squirms out and kicks my shin, but I keep going. I football tackle her as we fall from the mech onto the ground, which wasn't far but it still hurt like heck. the lady escaped my grasp and started to make some dramatic speech or something (like every other villain) her accent sounded like rarity from my little pony.
"I, the phantom thief, will not be captured my some wannabe ninja girl, if any of you id want to be caught by the green ninja~ *she winks at him*
ok now I'm ready to kill her. ok not kill but hurt, no one talks to the green ninja that way! she became invisible and drifted through the ground as I heard her evil laughing or cackling or somethin.. the ninja started to leave "Gee thanks" the water ninja turned and asked:
N- "who are you? you've got some guts to fight a giant mech"
H- oh, uh, well this is awkward, but im Harumi"
N- "oooh~ that makes no sense since you should be at the palace"
H- " OH GOD! I forgot about that!
N- " hey wait Harumi, here's the address for my base meet me there after youre done being, yknow."
H- wai-what!? why are you trusting me? you just met me?
N- " no, I know you enough to tell you're a good person now go!"
as I run off to the palace, I check my phone only to see hucthins has texted me three times already asking where I am, I reply saying:
yea yea, ill be there soon, just buying something.
