A Lloyrumi Story

Beach day!

A/n: look I know this is a cliche in lots of anime's and stuff  but I'm gonna change it up a little..

Lloyd's POV:

I came home from school the next day to find a note from my mom saying:

I'm at the beach come find me...
P.s. bring swim trunks 😊

Okay, seeing that it's my birthday today, my mom must be trying to do something here... I walked down to the beach where i saw all my friends waiting for me.
Maybe today won't be so bad after all? Okay this is going to be fun!
My mom approached me and gave me a bone crushing hug and told me happy birthday, and to go have fun with my friends..

I felt a little shy though, I never really came out to the beach, but hey! There was cake!!!! And I'm sooo ready for that!😋

I felt a little weird not wearing a shirt, so I put my hoodie on too. I saw harumi, and She look really cute. she had a hot pink one piece and her hair tied into a ponytail... the only problem I saw, was that rick (that jerk) was totally trying to ask her out! And she couldn't see it through his not horrible looking abs!!😤
"Oh yeah? Well two can play at this game rick..."
I walked over to where they were talking and casually said:

Lloyd: hey guys.. I didn't know rick was gonna be here?..

Harumi; oh! Hey Lloyd! Happy birthday!
Also rick just came here on the same day as your birthday, weird huh?

Lloyd: yeah.. weird.. say you wanna join me in the water rumi?

Harumi: uh- swim!? Like in the water?- i- maybe later? I'm not sure-

Lloyd: hey it's cool, we can chill up here then, how about some volleyball?

Harumi: boi I'll own you!

Rick: uh- ok then I'll just watch. I guess...

We ran over to skylor and nya, where they were playing already. When we joined in, I asked if I could play with nya(since she is a very strong part of the ninja team) I wasn't wrong but I didn't play sports very well, so we were losing... badly.. harumi had that cute smug face when she was right.. that also didn't help.. rick sat there looking at us "keeping score" after harumi and skylor won, we sat down away from the net and started to play with the sand and talk..jay and nya were scuba diving.. Kai was.. bring Kai.. and cole and Zane were eating something.. later in the evening we all gathered around and ate cake and danced around a fire. It was great!
But of course, a criminal just had to place a bomb in the city hall... we all disbanded quickly to go find this guy...
