Haram relationships often cause nothing but humiliation and indignity. Every one of us should take care of his heart and protect it from any kind of impurity and anything that displeases Allah swt , it shouldn't be a place for a love that can make us lose ourselves in the process , especially if it wasn't whithin the framework of what is permissible in our deen .
Love in haram relationships causes attachement to the beloved and being distant from them makes it even worse , it is what will result in a heartbreak and serious consequences.
SubhanAllah, Allah swt has legislated some rules which we us muslims should follow . There are rules thay should be respected either between men , or between women , and even those between women and their mahrams.But those rules don't exist between spouses.That is because Allah swt ,who is the All-Knowing , knows that we are attracted to the opposite gender and what lies in the lovers' hearts as well as their longing for their beloved.Therefore , He created for us spouses and made them a source of peace and tranquility, and promised spouses who made it to Jannah inshaAllah to stay together.
Nowadays, some people think that by fulfilling their whims and desires through haram means , they are going to find that emotional stability , peace and the love they are looking for. However, they will never find that in that way , a relationship which is based on haram can never be blessed nor successful. Being involved in such relationship brings them nothing but suffering in this life and causes them to destroy their hearafter since they are disobeying their Lord.
Do you not feel ashamed O' slave of Allah to disobey the One who created you and showers you with His blessings every second of your life ,despite your shortcomings, while He is watching you ?
Be careful to protect yourself from causing your life and your hearafter to be ruined for a temporary pleasure, which ends up with great suffering and regret. Try to do so by fixing your relationship with your Lord and fullfing your Lord's command of lowering your gaze.
