Maddie's P.O.V

It's been a week. It's been one whole week since Niall came back. I can tell he is working very hard to make things better, and I appreciate it and all but it's just hard. We text back and forth a lot and he comes over every day. I've met the rest of the boys, but I already knew Harry. He kinda stayed in touch with me and updated me about Niall during the three years.

Niall is coming over in 30 minutes and he wants to watch Ted, our old favorite movie. I want things to work with us, I really want to make things better but it's just hard. He missed so much time and we lost everything. We haven't hung out much in public, he comes over and we just talk and catch up.

*Ding Dong*

He's here! Wait am I excited to see him? No I can't be I'm just excited to see Ted again. I went to open the door.

"Hey love, good to see you again" Niall smiled as my heart skipped at beat. Did I say that? No Maddie you need to stop thinking like that. I have to keep my guard up and not let him get to me.

Niall's P.O.V

"Hey you brought food"

"Yea I brought your favorite! Birthday cake icecream and cake" I said. How can I forget her favorite food she always ate it with me! Even after our first date, after all the food she are she still had enough room for that.

We are in the middle of watching Ted and all the icecream and cake is gone. Her appetite obviously hasn't changed. Only her appearance changed, but her personality is the same as it used to be. She's still the nicest most thoughtful girl, but she's still shy and awkward sometimes. And that is why I love her. She looked at me and caught me staring at her and smiled. I didn't realize it but I started leaning in, and I did it I kissed her. The kiss lasted about 2 minutes before she broke it.

"Why did you do that Niall. I told you I need time!"

"I'm so sorry Maddie. It was stupid but you kissed me back. You wanted it as much as I did"

"You have to leave Niall, I'll call you when I'm ready"

"No Maddie please I'm sorry please don't kick me out"

"Bye Niall"

I just screwed things up. What am I going to do?
