The Replacement Bride

Prologue

Kyrié Ellisione de Vega, one of the most prestige event organizer in town. She can make your wedding day a dream come true. She's very succesful when it comes to her passion.

"Congrats Ms. K! Another succesful wedding event!", bati sa'kin ng assistant kong si Tina.

"No, congratulations to us! It's won't be a success if 
it wasn't for all of you.", correcting her.

"Grabe talaga kayo madame, sobrang humble 'nyo po talaga.", ani ni Rigor na loyal staff niya.

"Awwww..", sabi ng lahat ng staff niya.

"Please enjoy the food for our little celebration, guys!", sabi na lamang niya.

Bigla siyang hinatak ni Tina sa gilid, "Ms. K, meron pong naghahanap sa inyo. Pinatuloy ko na po siya sa office niyo kasi po sabi niya, bestfriend nyo po daw siya."

Nagtataka siya sa sinabi ng assistant niya dahil ang alam niya, matagal ng nagmigrate sa US ang bestfriend niyang si Icay kasama ang napangasawa nito.

"Sige, thank you Tina. Please enjoy with the others." At tinungo na niya ang opisina nya.

When she opened her office door, she saw a familiar figure she never thought she will see again in her life. He's wearing a blue tailored suit that perfectly fits him

Humarap ito sa kanya ng marinig ang tunong ng stilletos niya.

"Hi bespren! Ang ganda mo talaga. Namiss kita sobra..", he hugged her tight kahit tulala pa din siya, tinapik na lang niya ito sa likod.

"Ho-how are you and what brings you here?", nauutal niyang sabi dito. Umupo na siya sa kanyang lamesa at tinuro ang katapat nitong upuan para sa kaibigan at umupo naman ito.

"I'm getting married." J said. There was a dead air bago siya matauhan.

"Wow! Congratulations! Oh my gosh! Pumayag??", nasabi na lamang niya sa pagsakit ng dibdib niya.

"Grabe ka talaga sakin bespren! Sa tino kong 'to, wala na siyang mahahanap na katulad ko. I could give her everything, she don't need to ask.

Parang napako naman ang mala-aso niyang ngiti sa sinabi nito.

"Bespren, please pumayag ka ng maging wedding planner namin. I went to you straight from New York, just to convice you. I don't want anyone else but you because you can make my fiancé's dream wedding come true.", habang nakatitig ito sa mga mata nya.

Ang mga matang iyon ang dahilan kung bakit hanggang ngayon, single pa din xa. Madami naman siyang manliligaw na pursigido, mayayaman at seryoso sa kanya pero wala man lang siyang matipuhan sa mga ito.

"When is the wedding?", sabay hinga niya ng malalim.

"I know it's a very short notice but it will be 2 months from today.", J said.

"Oh my...", she just said.

"I'm very sorry but this is what Mitch wants and since her parents are against us, she want it soonest.", tumayo ito at nagsalita pa. "They don't want me for their loving daughter as I came from rubbish and won't accept how succesful I am now. I met her in college. My world stops when I saw her enter the classroom. She accepted my status but her parents did not as I am scholar in a prestige university. She loved me as I am kahit walang wala talaga 'kong maipapakita sa mga magulang niya."

She stand up and go to where he is. He hold his back and went to his side.

"So when can I meet her, so we can start?", nasabi na lang niya kahit durog na durog ang puso niya sa mga narinig niya.

"Is that a YES??", J asked.

"Pasalamat ka, maluwag ang shedule ko ngayom dahil.l off peak ang events this time. I can focus more on your wedding day.", she said while going back to her desk.

"Thank you bespren! Thank you! Thank you! I'll double you fee.", habang hinahalikan siya nito sa buong mukha niya. Tumigil lang ito nung masyadong nang malapit ang mga labi nila.

"Nopie! It's my gift to your special day.. S-so, as I was saying, kelan ko pwdeng ma-meet si Mitch para makapag-start na kami ng mga gagawin? I know you will be freakin' busy with your company."

"Thank you talaga bespren ahh! Ako na lang bahala sa staffs mo.", yakap pa nito sa kanya. "She will be here by next week. She'll leave Australia on Saturday night. Will be monday perfect for you to accomodate her?".

She look at her calendar, "Yes. That would be a great time. Lunch?", she smiled at him to hide her brokwn feelings.

"Perfect! I'll tell her the great news.", J said excitedly.

They both stand up and J hugged tightly her again. She closed her eyes to savour the moment as they might do this when Mitch arrives.

"I love you bespren. We'll see you on Monday.", nagbeso pa ito sa kanya at inihatid na niya sa pintuan.

When she closed the door, a tear fell down from her eyes..
